Christmas 2015 Let us take care of everything for you this Christmas. Enjoy three days at Calcot Manor indulging in the pleasures of our restaurants and spa, and relaxing in the comfort of your own country house retreat.
Christmas Programme Christmas Eve Christmas will begin at Calcot on Thursday 24th December, when we welcome our guests with Christmas cake, mince pies and scones in front of our roaring log fires. Guests are invited to join us for a Champagne reception before a leisurely evening meal, and later in the evening a visit by local choristers. Christmas Day Christmas Day begins with a Champagne breakfast, either in the comfort of your bedroom, or in The Conservatory Restaurant. For those wishing to attend Christmas morning service, there are several small churches in the parishes of Tetbury, Kingscote and Beverstone - we would be happy to arrange your travel. Christmas lunch is served in The Conservatory Restaurant. Christmas afternoon is rarely active, but for those feeling energetic we can recommend a walk to revive your appetite for the evening’s light supper. On Christmas Day evening, we will serve a relaxed candle-lit supper for house guests in The Gumstool Inn. Boxing Day There is as much (or as little!) to do as you like on Boxing Day with a clay-pigeon shoot in the grounds (please speak to reception for details), or the Arboretum at Westonbirt and Sir Peter Scott’s Wildfowl Trust at Slimbridge both a short distance from the hotel. For the less energetic, this might be a good time to be pampered in Calcot Spa, or stay in the hotel and curl up in front of the fire with a good book.The festivities come to an end with a cocktail party and dinner in The Conservatory Restaurant. Lunch will be available in The Gumstool Inn and The Conservatory Restaurant on Boxing Day, but this is not included in the price of the break. Guests are advised to reserve a table in advance.
Christmas Tariff 2015
These prices are based on double occupancy for the Christmas programme, arriving on the 24th December
and departing after breakfast on the 27th. They include three nights accommodation, full English breakfast each
morning, dinner as described in the package, lunch on Christmas Day, and a cocktail party and dinner including
selected wines to accompany each course on Boxing Day, plus service and VAT.

fore strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover against any unforseen circumstances. We reserve the right to change the Christmas
programme.
Christmas Celebrations 2015 Calcot’s warm, relaxed atmosphere, paired with our friendly, top-class service, is sure to make for a memorable occasion. We will be offering seasonal specials at lunchtime along with our banqueting menus for larger groups, as well as a Christmas menu for parties of 10 or more that we are sure you will find tempting. So, whether you are planning to celebrate with friends, family or colleagues in a formal or casual setting, Calcot offers the perfect solution for any get together. The Garden Room Ideal for 12-16 guests, this private dining room adjoins The Conservatory Restaurant. The Gumstool Inn Gloucestershire’s leading ‘dining pub’ is perfect for parties up to 16 guests and offers a ‘buzzy’ and completely informal atmosphere.

New Year 2015 At Calcot Manor, New Year is a relaxed house party with fine food, Champagne, excellent wines and as much dancing as you like! We do hope you can join us.
New Year Programme wednesday 30th December Guests arriving throughout the day will be welcomed with Afternoon Tea served in front of crackling log fires. The afternoon might be spent visiting Calcot Spa - an opportunity to be thoroughly pampered before the party begins. Dinner will be a relaxed affair served in our beautiful Conservatory Restaurant allowing guests to unwind before the celebrations the following day. New Year’s Eve Children’s entertainer, Pizazz, is at Calcot during the afternoon and throughout the evening and never fails to entertain our smaller guests with, amongst many other activities, his balloon modelling. The party begins for the adults with a Champagne and canapè reception, before a five-course black tie dinner. After dinner, guests will be entertained by live music and as much (or as little!) dancing as you like. The midnight hour will be marked in the traditional style - Champagne and a little ‘Auld Lang Syne’, and the casino and dancing will carry on into the early hours. New Year’s Day After breakfast, blow away the previous night’s cobwebs by exploring the cotswold countryside. For the less energetic, we suggest visiting Calcot Spa, or perhaps curling up with a good book in front of the fire. Dinner will be served in The Conservatory Restaurant.

accommodation, full English breakfast each morning, the black tie dinner on New Year’s Eve (including selected
wines to accompany each course) and dinner in The Conservatory Restaurant on the other two evenings. They
also include use of the spa facilities, early morning tea/coffee, a daily newspaper, plus service and VAT.
