certified testing laboratory.
Probable case: The case meets clinical criteria AND epidemiologic evidence (close contact with a confirmed or probable case; travel to or residence in an area with sustained, ongoing
community spread; or a member of a risk cohort as defined by public health authorities during an outbreak), with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID-19.
Positivity Rate - The 7-day positivity rate is based on PCR and Antigen testing rates for Buchanan County residents and will be updated once a week on Mondays.

Missouri COVID-19 Dashboard will
provide COVID-19 data for state and
county levels:
MO DHSS numbers have continued to
fluctuate as the state makes adjustments to
ensure COVID-19 cases are not counted
twice. This could occur if a person received
a positive antigen test followed up with a
confirmatory PCR test – initially some
people who fall into that category were
counted in both. In order to report
accurately, the state regularly reviews
positive tests and corrects the numbers.

https://MOStopsCovid.com/winOur Shot to End the Pandemic
The United States is once again seeing a rise in COVID-
19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. As of July 22,
35% of U.S. counties are experiencing high levels of
community transmission. COVID-19 cases are on the
rise in nearly 90% of U.S. jurisdictions, and we are
seeing outbreaks in parts of the country that have low
vaccination coverage. These worrisome trends are
due, in part, to the rapid spread of the highly
transmissible B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant. An increase in
the number of cases will put more strain on
healthcare resources and could lead to more
hospitalizations and deaths.

Starting Friday, February 12, 2021, COVIDView was replaced with the COVID Data Tracker Weekly Review. This new webpage and newsletter highlights key data from CDC’s COVID Data Tracker, narrative interpretations of
the data, and visualizations from the week. The new Weekly Review also summarizes important trends in the pandemic and brings together CDC data and reporting in a centralized location. It represents the extensive data
that CDC uses to track the pandemic on a daily basis and incorporates additional data sources in the future. Sign up to have the COVID Data Tracker Weekly Review delivered to your inbox every week.INFORMATION FOR HEALTH C ARE PROFESSIONALS

DHSS Health Advisory, dated 07/27/2021, entitled,
"SARS-CoV-2 Monoclonal Antibody Treatment Update.“
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) is providing this
updated advisory regarding monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19.
Previously, DHSS issued a Health Advisory on April 13, 2021 about such treatment
options. The April 13 health advisory detailed Eli Lilly’s bamlanivimab and
bamlanivimab plus etesevimab combo. Since then, U.S. health officials have paused the
distribution of those two Eli Lilly & Co. Covid-19 monoclonal antibody treatments
because of data showing that they aren’t effective against virus variants that are
common across the country. There are two remaining options for monoclonal
antibody based treatment, each exists under an Emergency Use Authorization,
Regeneron’s product consisting of casirivimab and imdevimab, and GSK’s sotrovimab.

Health Alert Network (HAN) No. 447
Vaccination to Prevent COVID-19 Outbreaks with Current and Emergent Variants — United States, 2021

Summary
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is issuing this Health Alert Network Health Advisory to notify public health practitioners
and clinicians about the urgent need to increase COVID-19 vaccination coverage (i.e., the percentage of the population fully vaccinated) across
the United States to prevent surges in new infections that could increase COVID-19 related morbidity and mortality, overwhelm healthcare
capacity, and widen existing COVID-19-related health disparities. Increasing vaccination coverage is especially urgent in areas where current
coverage is low.
Unvaccinated persons account for the majority of new COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. Currently circulating SARS-CoV-2
variants of concern, especially the highly infectious Delta variant (B.1.617.2), are accelerating spread of infection. Unvaccinated and partially
vaccinated people need to practice all recommended prevention measures until fully vaccinated. In areas with substantial and high transmission,
CDC recommends that fully vaccinated individuals wear a mask in public indoor settings to help prevent the spread of Delta and protect others.
Background:
• COVID-19 case rates are rising again after a period of decline
• Most cases of COVID-19 and hospitalizations are in unvaccinated individuals
• The COVID-19 Delta variant is widely prevalent and more infectious than prior strains
• COVID-19 vaccination is our most effective strategy to prevent infection and severe disease
• COVID-19 vaccination coverage at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) helps prevent infection
• CDC recommends urgent action by all
