SELF SEEDED STARTING ZONES
Participants in all events of the 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon events
are strongly encouraged to position themselves on the start line
according to ability. There are start time corrals signposted for each
event. Please click here to see the start zones for your expected race
time. Personal timing chips will only be activated as runners cross the
start line. Elite runners for the Channel 7 Marathon and Australian Half
Marathon Championships will be directed to the front of their events
for a priority start.

BAG STORAGE AND INFORMATION TENT
The bag dropoff/storage and information tent are within the Event
Precinct and open from 5am on Sunday August 19. Please attach
your personal bag tag found on your race bib to your bag for easy
identification. Please do not leave any valuables in your bags.

MERCHANDISE FOR SALE
Limited edition 2018 event merchandise will be available for sale at the
Information Tent within the Event Precinct. Items include event shirt
($35), event visor ($20) and event water bottle ($10) until sold out.

Don’t miss the 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon Event Expo offering great

abilities. Whether you’re new to the sport and just starting out or a

The 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon uses an on course electrolyte formula

                             Electrolyte sports drink, water and a variety of fresh fruit will be
                             available to participants at the finish line.
                             PRESENTATIONS
                             Presentations will commence approximately 30mins after the first three
                             male and female competitors have crossed the line in each event.

                             RESULTS
                             Race results will be available online at the 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon
                             website and on the official Facebook page after the event.
                             iTAB MEDAL INSERTS
                             Celebrate your fantastic achievement at the 7 Sunshine Coast
                             Marathon with iTAB. Finisher medals are designed to fit an iTAB,
                             a small metallic finished plate with your name and finishing time
                             engraved. Simply affix your iTAB to your medal. Pre—purchased iTAB
                             medal inserts will be posted to your registered postal address following
                             the event. If you missed out on ordering your customised iTab you can
                             click here to place a post-race order.

                             EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
                             The team from Marathon-Photos will be capturing your experience on
                             race day. Remember to smile for the camera and give them a wave.
                             Your personal event photographs will be available for purchase online
                             from www.marathon-photos.com following the event. Keep an eye on
                             Facebook and Instagram for an update on availability.

                             PERSONAL RESULTS CERTIFICATE
                             Your own personalised results certificate will be available online after
                             you finish your event. Simply select your name to download and print

SPECIAL NEEDS
Please drop your special needs to the elite area before 5.30am on race
day. Label and place your special needs in the desired KM aid station
tubs provided. The car will leave strictly at 5.40am. No drops will be
made after this time.
PRIORITY START ZONES
There will be an allocated area for priority start athletes. This will be
clearly marked at the front of the start arch. Please place yourselves at
the front after warm up.
BRIEFING + BIB COLLECTION
Race briefing is at 2.30pm Saturday August 18 at Sealife Mooloolaba.
Race bibs will be available at the elite room on race day August 19
HALF MARATHON COURSE
• Start from the Northern start line (see attached course maps) located
on Alexandra Pde and head south towards Mooloolaba.
• Southern turnaround at approx. 3.6km
• Head North passing the finish line at approx. 7km.
• Northern turnaround at approx. 14km
• Head south to the finish line at event precinct
