The African Federation of the Institutes of Internal Auditors (AFIIA) in collaboration with the Institute of
Internal Auditors (IIA) Zambia proudly invites you to the 8th AFIIA Conference to be held in Livingstone,
Zambia on 25 – 27 May 2022. The Conference will be preceded by the 8th Governance Forum
scheduled on 23 – 24 May 2022.
This is the Hybrid AFIIA Conference that will involve both virtual and physical experience. Participants
will have opportunity to choose either to participate virtually or in person. All COVID-19 Protocols are
complied with. Select your preferred option and do not afford to miss it!
Over 600 internal audit professionals from a variety of sectors, representing Africa and overseas are

Airlines
The major Airlines that easily come to Zambia include British Airways, Emirates, Quartar Airways,
Ethiopian Airways, Rwanda Air, South African Airways, Malawian Airlines, Kenya Airways, AirTanzania
etc. Daily flights connecting Lusaka and Livingstone include Zambian Airways and Proflight.
VISA
You may obtain your VISA to enter Zambia on arrival or through an online application for a fee of
USD 25. Neighbouring African countries’ residents and other African countries which do not appear
in the list below, do not require a VISA to enter Zambia. The following countries will require VISA,
Gambia, Chad, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Algeria, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, Sierra
Leone, Guinea Conakry, Togo, Tunisia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic,

COVID-19 Protocols
To enter Zambia, you'll need:
• Zambia open for quarantine-free international travel with valid vaccination certification.
• All passengers are required to present a printed double vaccination certification.
• All passengers are required to present a printed certificate of a negative COVID-19 (PCR)
test taken no later than 48 hours before arrival.
• Testing at Points of entry will be conducted at the traveller’s cost.
• All guests staying at the hotel are required to present a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test
taken within 48 and vaccination card or certificate at check-in.
• The average cost for COVID Test and Travel Certificate is USD 100.
