educational needs through February 15, 2021
     ○ Students with IEPS

    Guidelines
     ○ Spectators allowed based on site capacity
COVID Testing
● We implemented both the rapid and saliva PCR tests. The rapids are from KDHE and we are
a partner with WSU for the PCR tests.
● We have done 60 PCR tests so far, with 3 positive results, 27 rapid tests with 5 positive
    results
● Daily numbers vary and are increasing
● We offer testing at the schools and drive-thru at our Admin building
● Our health staff members have been calling to check on students and staff who are called in
sick all year, but now, if the symptoms fit, they can offer drive-thru testing
● Students and staff who are at school are tested in the isolation room in the building.
● Testing will help with the prevention of spread and potential reduction in isolation or
    quarantine
Student & Staff - Quarantine/Isolations
● Nursing staff collect and report the numbers on a daily basis
● Principals and teachers manage the student activities and are notified
when someone is put in quarantine or isolation
● Building administrators and department directors manage the staffing
    coverage
PPE
● The supplies for cleaning and PPE are managed through facilities
● These supplies are tracked for quantity and availability
● Additional purchases are made as supplies indicate and we try to
anticipate the shortage thru continuous communication with our vendors
Additional ChromeBooks
● We would like to enter into a three year lease fair market value for
addition ChromeBook devises. This lease will increase our technology
access for 1 to 1 device to the elementary level. Along with the additional
devices we would like to purchase vertical charging carts. (see attached
    quotes)
● The lease will be paid from additional ESSER Funds and will give the
district three years to increase the annual technology budget to ensure
    sustainability.
● The increase in additional devices is part of the technology strategic plan
● This is a first read as we are not asking for board action at this time. We
will bring it back to the Board during the regularly scheduled meeting in
    February.
