CURRICULUM - SPECIALIST FOR BIOLOGICAL
DENTISTRY AND CERAMIC IMPLANTS

GUIDELINES
REQUIRED COURSES
• The curriculum consists of required courses
• In the past, DATE WITH BIOLOGY & ZIRCONIA (formerly SDS user course) with Dr. Ulrich Volz and required courses in
the SWISS BIOHEALTH EDUCATION CENTER are fully credited
SUBMISSION OF CASE DOCUMENTATION (100 CERAMIC IMPLANTS)
• At least 100 completed and documented ceramic implants must be submitted
• The case documentation MUST be submitted as a photobook (at least DIN A4 format):
X-ray/panorama (OPG) AND photos preoperative, postoperative and final prosthetics
• 100% of the submitted cases must have a prosthetic restoration
• Minimum requirement: The implanted quadrant MUST be free of amalgam, metals and root-treated teeth
• Deadline for submission of the photobook: 4 weeks before the examination date
• Admission to the examination takes place after reviewing the photobook and approval by the examination board
• The photo book can be ordered, for example, from the following website: www.cewe.de/cewe-fotobuch.html
WRITTEN EXAM
• The written examination consists of 89 multiple choice and open questions
• The open questions must be answered clearly and completely
• The total time of the written exam is 90 minutes
• The written examination is passed if at least 80% (164 points) are achieved
• During the courses in the SWISS BIOHEALTH EDUCATION CENTER all questions are discussed intensively
• In the current documents of SDS Swiss Dental Solutions AG and SWISS BIOHEALTH® (THE SWISS BIOHEALTH
CONCEPT®) all answers to the curriculum are included
IF YOU DO NOT REACH THE 164 POINTS, YOU HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO USE THE FOLLOWING „JOKER“
10 additional points can be achieved by a scientific paper on a specific topic. This should be at least 5 to a maximum of 10
DIN A4 pages long and must be submitted as PDF. It also must contain at least 10 references from PubMed.de. The paper
will then be made available to all users in the SLACK-Channel #documents. Please let us know in time if you are interested so
that we can provide you with relevant topics (example: vitamin K2 and blood thinners). Deadline: 4 weeks before the exam.
VERBAL EXAMINATION

• Questions on the questions not answered, not answered correctly or not answered completely from the written
examination

REQUIRED COURSES The curriculum “Specialist in biological dentistry and ceramic implants” was developed from the further education pro- gram of the SWISS BIOHEALTH EDUCATION CENTER. The curriculum consists of required courses and is completed with a written and verbal examination. REQUIRED COURSES • 2x DATE WITH BIOLOGY & ZIRCONIA 620 USD Be part of a cause- and result-oriented new way of dentistry (2 days) • 1x CERAMIC IMPLANTOLOGY WEEK 3.450 USD Become an expert in biological dentistry (5 days) • 1x SWISS BIOHEALTH WEEK 3.450 USD Deepen your knowledge of biological dentistry (6 days) EXAMINATIONS • 100 completed and documented ceramic implants (x-rays and photos pre, post, final prosthetics). Deadline: 4 weeks before the examination • Written exam on the exam day at the SWISS BIOHEALTH EDUCATION CENTER • Verbal examination following the written examination • Exam fees: 1.500 USD EXAM DATES • Saturday, 24. excellent form of documentation of her work, which can
also be viewed in the dental practice. Here are some sample
