Operational instructions

 Ensure that the water level in the aluminium reflector tray is between the
minimum and maximum marks. Water is required to reflect heat and
minimise the amount of smoke produced during the cooking process.

 Switch the appliance on and set the temperature using the control dial. The
appliance will heat up automatically until the selected temperature is
reached. The element will then switch off until the heat falls below the
selected temperature upon which the element will switch on again. This
ensures that a constant temperature is maintained. The indicator light will
be lit whenever the element is heating and the grill will turn off when the
       element stops.

 The grill rack can be placed at various heights by placing it in one of the
three holes located on the base rack.

 Power consumption depends on the thermostat setting. For lengthy grilling
it is advisable to set the temperature to high as “MAX”.

 When you have finished grilling turn the control dial to “MIN” and take the
plug out of the mains socket. The appliance will now cool down.

 Do not move the appliance until it has fully cooled down.
