                                                         ABSTRACT
This paper discusses how they reduce people's efforts to wash dishes and utensils. The utensils washer is designed to make the
utensils washer easier and more efficient. This paper also discusses the problems facing the use of Automatic utensils washer
and solutions to those problems. An automatic washing machine uses a huge amount of energy, water, time and is very
expensive. And since it is very expensive, the use of automatic washers in our country is very limited. By using an automated
container, it can significantly reduce the time and effort of people. And by using plastic parts for partitioning, the overall
weight of the assembly is reduced. By dividing the assembly into 3 parts for washing dishes, cleaning dishes and washing
glasses, much work can be done in less time. In the normal washing process the amount of energy of the people and the
amount of water is used. So keep that in mind, in order to reduce this Semi-Automatic container washer. And we can use this
in places where dishes are often used for example, a wedding event. This utensils washer is more useful for household use,
which saves time and costs rather than wasting on cleaning dishes by hand and consuming large amounts of energy.

                                                 I.     INTRODUCTION
Vacuuming is the world's most popular work, in many families people hand wash the dishes by hand and tissue and
chemically. It may also lead to a clinical, physical disability and back pain that can affect an operator's health. Most housework
is done by women and some can be very difficult and time-consuming. So in many ways we can improve their lifestyle, and
one thing we can improve on is the way they wash their dishes. At present, the task of washing dishes is done by women, and it
can be very hard work as it is done many hours a week. The same can happen to the wedding party and its customers. In
today’s world of automation Era it is impossible to find any field used for atomization that reduces human effort, improves
productivity and also improves efficiency. Then it would be the largest production industry, pharmaceutical industry,
hospitality garden and Household or automated kitchen. But our country is not getting enough benefits from automation and
the reason behind this is limited information about automated products, high cost of the device, and type of nascence sensing
by atomic devices. However this fear is not apparent in a product that does not include many Sensors, Complex Electronic
Circuits, and simple user devices. The most common example of an Automatic dishwasher. This portable shower is widely
used internationally. However it is seldom seen in our country.
Why we select the project –
Purpose:
The main purpose of the dishwasher is to reduce the cost of an automatic dishwasher and to provide good cleaning service. It
required less vitality and less water utilization. The dishwasher time can be adjusted according to the needs of each customer.
This review is about an automatic dishwasher. A subtle sketch of an automatic dishwasher is described. The history of human
effort needs, time management and energy use are discussed. Build type will be updated. Recent research is being done to
improve systems. The basic principle of performance is systematically looked at in this paper and its future scope. Keywords-
Washing machine, motor, gears, parenting, plates, water & cleaner. Keywords- utensils washing machine, motors, bearing,
storage tank, water & detergent.
Challenges to this Project Washing dishes is most ordinarily done action on the planet, in the vast majority of families' kin
wash dishes by hand which is stressing to muscles and cleanser is artificially hurtful As far as manual procedure is worried in
places of India, washing is finished by hand scouring which is stressing to the muscles through its vitality and postural
necessities. It might likewise prompt clinical, anatomical issue and back agony which may influence the administrator's
wellbeing. A considerable lot of their family unit tasks are performed by the ladies and some can be truly testing and tedious.
The dishwasher has made cleaning and drying dishes a lot simpler and progressively proficient

➢    Exercise and assessments:
In most of the college-restaurant washing dishes are done manually. When this procedure is done manually, a man can wash
about 120 to 150 dishes in one hour. This process is not only effective and tedious but also time consuming. At Government
College of Engineering Aurangabad, the total number of college students is almost 2000 and the total number of students (i.e.
1000) live in a college hostel. Then the number of dishes needed for the bath will be around 1000 per day. When this procedure
is done manually, a man can wash about 100 to 150 dishes in one hour
Main Objectives are:
1. To learn about the market situation and customer expectations regarding the washing machine.
2. To learn some solutions for dishwasher design for home purposes.
3. To study the performance of washing parameters using Hand washing Manual, automatic washing machine and automatic

                                                II.    METHODOLOGY
The way to work is the process of launching and developing a project. The purpose and success of a project depends on how
well the strategy works to achieve the outcome. The operating procedure describes each step to accomplish the flow task
sequence from the beginning until the result is achieved. All results obtained are evaluated and improved until the best possible
result comes out and will be taken. This operation will be and get some serious consequences for trial and error here.
Whenever the right decision can be thought and repeated to achieve the best outcome.
Project framework
The phase is to consider developing and building. Discuss reviews of ideas, calculations, project details and more.
To achieve all of these, the following steps must be followed closely during the execution of the project to achieve the
objective.
1) Understand the purpose of the project and seek the best possible outcome for resolving the problem statement.
2) Read the literature review and analyze what use can be made of this work. All information collected together from a
   variety of sources such as common website sources, magazines, books, articles, paper, blogs, video site and any other
   content and resources.
3) Monitoring and simulation where a specific assessment is required to collect and monitor information and record
   information for improvement.
4) Produce conceptual design and conceptual selection in which the need for a moral framework and the final design of a
   theory is met.
5) The next step is to test whether the model is effective and meets the objective. Therefore, the problem identified will be
    analytical and needs to be redesigned.

Design & Parts Analysis of Basic Structure of Machine
Self-loader dish washer comprise of engine with siphons in which water is move through PVC pipes which is associated with
turning planes which is in upper side and descending side. Siphon is help to pivot the stream. These streams are sprinkling the
water with required weight on the plates and utensils. Controller is given in the machine which controls the activity of
machine. Water utilization of this machine is relies upon client. Time, water and vitality utilization are extremely less. Engine
is utilized to change over electrical vitality to Mechanical vitality. At the point when electrical vitality converts to mechanical
vitality, water suck by outward siphon and it goes through funnel to revolving plane which is equal associated. Rotational

1. Motor: Type: Permanent range of Magnet DC motor (Wiper Motor) In a DC motor, the armature rotates within the
magnetic field. The basic principle of DC motor operation is based on the fact that whenever a current driver is placed inside
the electric world, there will be an operating voltage that the driver is seeing. All types of DC motors operate under this
system. So to build a DC car, it is important to establish a magnetic field. The magnetic field is created by the use of a magnet.
Permanent Magnet DC motor (or PMDC motor) is a DC motor that uses permanent magnet to generate the magnetic force
required for DC motor operation.
2. Electric Water heating coil (Immersion Heater): An electric heater that is immersed in water to heat water is called
Immersion heat. On the market from 250 watt to 2.0 kilograms of watt available. The body is made of metal material, and the
heating element is made of copper inserted into the capillary tube. The tube is available in 'U' or Coil shape. The capillary tube

is filled with magnesium oxide which acts as a condenser. Both ends of the tube are tied. Provisioning connections are
provided with a 3 pin socket and plug.
3. Mini submersible water pump: Sub pump (electric motor (ESP)) is a tool with a small motor that is locked and closed near
the pump body. The whole assembly is concentrated in the liquid to be sprayed. The main advantage of this type of pump is
that it prevents the pump holes, a problem associated with the large height difference between the pump and the water
reservoir. Groundwater pumps inject fluid into the surface unlike jet pumps that create space and are subject to atmospheric
pressure. Liquids, accelerated by the impeller, lose their kinetic energy in the diffuser when the kinetic transition to the energy
is realized. This is the main operating system for radial pumps and mixed braking.
4. Bearings: Type Pillow block bearing support typically refers to housing with associate degree enclosed anti-friction
bearing. A support refers to any mounted bearing whereby the mounted shaft is in an exceedingly parallel plane to the
mounting surface, and perpendicular to the centre line of the mounting holes, as contrasted with numerous styles

distinguished by the gear that the sprockets have not meshed together directly, and differs from a pulley in that sprockets have

8. Discharge Nozzle: Adjustable Type (Adjustable) Nozzle is a tool designed to control the direction or characteristics of
water flow (especially to increase speed) as it exits (or enters) a closed chamber or pipe. The nozzle is usually a pipe or tube of
a different geographical area, and has been used to direct or adjust the flow of water (fluid or gas). Nozzles are frequently used
to control the flow rate, speed, direction, weight, composition, and / or pressure of the source. For Nozzle, the speed of a liquid
increases without the cost of its compressive strength.
9. Chain Drive: Chain drive transfer the power from Ac motor to Shaft .Chain drive is a way of transmitting mechanical
power from one place to another. It is often used to convey power to the wheels of a vehicle,
particularly bicycles and motorcycles. It is also used in a wide variety of machines besides vehicles.
10. Utensils Grill: Utensil Grills utilized in self-loader dish washer is to convey the quantity of plates, Bowls, cup, spoons and
other utensil for washing reason. It comprises of SS (Stainless steel) It is effectively accessible and ease. For bigger and
heavier things, for example, plates, serving platters, pans, bowls, and so on., upper flame broil utilized. Glasses, cups and little
things, for example, saucers can likewise be put in the lower bin. At the point when inclined, plates up to 35 cm in

Torque = Force x Perpendicular distance
Force = (Load applied on the rack + Mass of shaft) x Gravitational force
Let assume, the average load applied on the rack will be 10kg, the mass of rack will be 4kg and mass of shaft be 1kg.
Force = (10 + 4 + 1) x 9.81 = 147.15N
Perpendicular distance = 20cm = 0.2m
Torque = 147.15 x 0.2 = 29.48
Power = 0.0771kW = 0.10hp
Therefore, select standard motor as 0.5hp
Design Calculation of Jet

We have,
d = diameter of jet = 200 mm = 0.02m
a) Area of jet A = π/4 d2
= π/4 (0.02)2= 3.14x10ˉ4 m2
b) Flow rate Q = 30 lit/min
= 5x10ˉ5 m3/s
Since there are four jets, the flow rate is divided by 4
Q1=Q2=Q3=Q4= 1.25x10ˉ5 m3/s
c) Velocity of jet Q = A x V
1.25x10ˉ5= 3.14x10ˉ4 x V V=0.0398 m/s
d) Force exerted by jet F = ρaV2
= 1000 x 3.14x10ˉ4x 0.03982 = 4.9738 x 10ˉ4N
We know that,
e) Pressure required through jet Pressure (P) = F/A =4.9738 x 10ˉ4/ 3.14x10ˉ4 P = 1.5840 N/m2 or bar
Actual Design Of Project- Semi-automatic dishwashing and utensil cleaner Main objective of semi-automatic dishwashing
machine is to reduce the cost of fully automatic dish washing machine and giving good cleaning performance. It required less
energy and less water consumption. Time of washing dish can be adjusting as per customer requirement. In this system multi
jet Technology is used to clean Utensils. Any type of utensil will be washed

                                          IV.      RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
From the investigation and examination of programmed and self-loader dish clothes washer, unmistakably capacity of the two
machines is same like washing dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, spoons and so forth. Be that as it may, their development and
working are extraordinary. Following are the finish of self-loader dish washer.
A. The performance of the machine is better than Automatic dish washer and manually dish washing
B. Capacity of machine to wash maximum plates per minute.
C. Low maintenance and easy to operate.
D. Design is simple and very efficient.
E. Less time and water consuming machine.
F. Cost is less than automatic dish washer.
G. Every component of this machine is easily available in market.
H. Semi-automatic dish and utensil washing machine can be purchased by every type of customer

                                                   V.     CONCLUSION
A comprehensive review of the literature on a personalized dishwasher was successfully completed It is made up of various
components of energy analysis, period use and requirements of efforts. The machines designed to wash the dishes very well
efficient and easy to use. For comparison purposes to be proficient, the result must be statistically significant. As for the
dishwasher, of course found that most studies were done on time, energy use and effort requirements. The books on the purity
of dishes are no longer relevant very few studies have been done. The above lessons they are imitation lessons. In terms of
time, energy the use and requirements of studies conducted has been developed by many researchers for analysis and by
examination. Our research is therefore very focused by the degree of cleanliness of the vessels.
