   OUR MISSION                                                                                                    The festival does more than subsidize admissions for
                                                                                                                  students! During Ebertfest, critics and directors visit local
                                                                                                                  high schools to show and discuss movies. Students in
 Film...is an empathy machine, allowing audience members to better                                                advertising, production, and communication gain professional
 understand the world and to become more compassionate, tolerant                                                  experience through the festival. Our academic panels and
