Study Program Regulations SPO 2015
SPO § 8, 2 + 3: IMPORTANT RULES -> Examen + Registration
1. 1st semester modules which are not taken until the 3rd semester = FAILED
2. Exams of the 1st semester that have not been passed
must retaken latest in the 4th semester
…. if failed again retaken in the following semester
-> Above cases: Automatically exam registration
taken by the Examination Office!!!
(followed by a written information from the Exam Office to the student)

ONLY, if SPO IBE §25, section 2 applies.

modules, which have been accomplished during a study abroad

* Completion of compulsory curriculum (120 ECTS) + passed project seminar
* Deadlines and registration procedure (www.isp.ovgu.de)
Examiner: Supervisor
2 weeks reading period + 8 weeks for writing
Strict registration+ submission dates
Thesis seminar with presentation
15 ECTS (for the thesis and seminar)
Grading: 80% written thesis and 20% presentation
Retake for failed bachelor’s thesis: ONLY Once, in the following semester.
