in Kindergarten-8th grade.
We’ve made some great additions to our camp this
summer! In addition to our Enrichment Specialty

camps located at the Y: group adventure, archery,
and swimming! We have also added two new ga-ga
pits and installed new ropes course elements! We
can’t wait for you to check it all out!
Here at the Y there is something for every child!
Whatever camp program you choose, your child is
sure to have fun, make new friends, grow as a
person, and make incomparable memories that will
last a lifetime. Camp Nonoma is more than a camp,
we are a family.
WHY THE Y?
The Y has been a leading provider of summer camp for over 125 years and
continues to provide children and teens with an enriching experience. The Y
ensures campers are in a safe environment with trained Y Staff who instill our
core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility to help build a child
or teen’s character. We are committed to strengthening community through
youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
SOUNDVIEW FAMILY YMCA CAMP NONOMA
Camp Nonoma is an outdoor camp which provides a fun and safe environment for children and teens to learn
new activities. Every day campers participate in a wide range of fun filled activities. Campers learn to share,
learn about sportsmanship, and most important learn about themselves. With several acres of woods, camp-
ers have the opportunity to be outdoors, learn archery, and explore nature. Pioneers attend one field trip per
week and Adventurers attend two field trips each week. Whether you choose the traditional camp, enrichment
camp, or specialty camp, there is a unique and adventurous summer experience here for everyone!
OUR MISSION HERE FOR YOU

The Camp Nonoma staff is the best of the best! Many
already know your children because they work year
round in the Y after-school program and/or other
youth programs. We have teachers, psychologists,
future educators, and recreation professionals with a
passion for kids. They’ll make sure that each and
every camp participant has fun, enjoys their day, and
leaves camp more confident-with many new friends
and stories.
Eighty percent of our staff are 18 years or older and
each receives a minimum of twenty-five hours of
training in safety, positive behavior management,
activity planning, and more.
Our staff give kids the confidence to be themselves,
let loose and be silly. Every morning we start off the
day by bringing a few staff in front of the camp to do
an activity that gets the kids laughing, cheering, and
ready for a great day!
