 ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

EQUITY FOR ALL KIDS
Advocates for Children and Youth (ACY) is a statewide 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that builds a strong Maryland

by advancing policies and programs to ensure children and families of every race, ethnicity and place of

birth achieve their full potential. If you envision a Maryland in which a child's outcome and access to

opportunities is not predicted by race or zip code; where families and communities are healthy and

equitably resourced; where youth, families, and communities are driving the agenda; and where they have

welcome home. Our work impacts Maryland’s more than 1.6
the capacity to advocate for their needs,

million young people and their families.

 1.6 AND COUNTING PODCAST
1.6 and Counting, is a weekly podcast in production that will look at issues that affect
Maryland’s more than 1.6 million young people and their families. Bold questions are posed

and revealing answers are given. It’s about community conversations with folks from small

towns and big cities, people who make the laws and those affected them, unsung heroes in

our neighborhoods doing some serious work and everyone in between. Sponsors have an

opportunity to underwrite an episode, a series or the podcast for an entire year. Underwriting

the entire year, allows for content collaboration on issues that align with our shared desire

for social change for the betterment of children and youth. Our podcast will be shared with

our 7,350 supporters, 5,400 social media followers and potentially thousands more by
hosting, promoting and tracking it through BuzzSprout.
