eRESIDENCY 2021 Application for July 2021 Residency Intake
Eligibility to apply for Residency Training
Moving forwards from the July 2020 Intake, to be eligible to apply for Residency
Training in Singapore, you have to be:
1. An Employee of MOH Holdings Pte Ltd at the time of application.
2. Be Post Graduate Year (PGY) 2, at the minimum, by July of the year you are
entering Residency Training (R1).
Please contact Jimmy Gan (jimmy.gan@mohh.com.sg) should you require further
assistance.
Important Notes for Residency 2021 1. You can only select up to 2 Clinician Track programmes to apply, and interview, for. There is no option to apply for a Clinician-Scientist track. 2. You can only apply for a switch to a Clinician-Scientist track in the 3rd year of your current programme. 3. Matches are binding. Rejection of a match, or withdrawal midway through training, will result in penalties (1 year penalty imposed for next application). A non accepted match has the consequence of depriving another applicant a position as we cannot rematch 4. If you do not want to apply for, or are not matched to, Residency Training for the July 2021 intake, you will be posted according to your MOPEX rotation preferences. 5. Please note that placement for postgraduate medical training positions will be prioritized for Singapore Citizens, Singapore PRs, and local-trained foreigners.
Important Notes for Residency 2021 6. Applicants should inform MOHH early if their commencement of training (if matched) will be delayed due to mandatory leave (NS candidates, maternity leave, ORD off-cycle). 7. PGY1 applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all relevant documentation, including PGY1 assessment forms (P1, P2, P3 forms) when completing the portfolio submission in the MOHH portal 8. Medical Officers applying are strongly encouraged to submit all relevant documentation, including available C1 assessments when completing the portfolio submission in the MOHH portal 9. Residency interviews will be conducted by the respective Sponsoring Institutions. Please refer to page 26 for more details.
