TURN DREAMS
   INTO REALITY
WE’VE BEEN MAKING POSSIBILITIES A REALITY FOR
PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY SINCE 1951
AND TO CELEBRATE OUR 70TH ANNIVERSARY THIS
YEAR, WE’RE DREAMING BIGGER THAN EVER BEFORE…

For decades, Noel’s dream was to go to Sydney’s Mardi Gras and feel included and accepted for
who he is. With your support, his lifelong dream came true

Leigh dreamed that students with disability at her school in Kingaroy could
also receive awards.
Josh dreamed of cutting the grass on top of Parliament House in Canberra,
and being told “well done”, which he was, by the Prime Minister.
Noel (pictured) dreamed of being flown to Sydney for the first time to
participate in Mardis Gras.
In 2018, through Endeavour Foundation’s Imagine What’s Possible
competition, we made their dreams come true.
To help us celebrate our 70th year of making possibilities a reality, we’re re-
launching our Imagine What’s Possible competition. Our aim is to encourage
people with intellectual disability to tell us their dreams — from landing their
dream job to learning to do something they’ve always wanted to do — and
develop the confidence to believe in their true potential.
If you know someone with an intellectual disability or cognitive
impairment who wants to live their dream,
          visit endeavour.com.au/imaginewhatspossible.

    IMAGINE WHAT’S POSSIBLE COMPETITION
ENTRIES WILL OPEN ON MONDAY 15 FEBRUARY
2021, AND CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 31 MARCH 2021
With your support, what dreams will
we make come true in 2021?

Marjory’s Story

Marjory was at work and thought she was receiving a sales call, but it was in fact
a life altering call instead. It was the call from Kirsty Moore, Head of Lotteries,
telling her she had just won a brand new $1.3 million home with ocean views in
Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast.
After several “Oh My God’s” and “Are you serious?” and checking the website to
verify the results Marjory’s emotions finally caught up to her.
Arriving at their new home, Marjory and her partner Ted, were “full of excitement”.
“There were lots of butterflies. Probably the happiest I have been in a long time,”
said Marjory. “There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of. It’s amazing.”
After winning and telling a few people, Marjory said “It’s funny how many people
have said to us when we have said we have won this home - “I’ve never met
anyone who has won one before!”
“I have four grandchildren and three of them are on the Autism spectrum, so I
have always been an advocate for helping children who have disabilities of any
kind or special needs.
This life changing win means Marjory can now help her family along with
grandchildren. Helping people with intellectual disability is a cause that is close
to Marjory’s heart and we wish her and her family all the best.
