Venue
Golf Club du Domaine Impérial is situated on Lake Geneva, halfway between Geneva and
Lausanne at 385 metres above sea-level. The name derives from the Napoleon family who once
owned the historic club house which dates from the 19th century. The golf course is more recent,
having been designed by the American architect Pete Dye in 1985 and it opened in 1987. Many
major events have been hosted here, including the International European Amateur
Championship in 1997, the Swiss International Championships in 1993 and 2004 and the
International European Mid-Amateur Championship in 2007. For further information kindly log on

Course
The Par 72 course measures 6339 metres (5527 for Ladies) in length with a Course Rating of
73.4 (74.7 for Ladies) and Slope Rating of 130 (131 for Ladies).

Travel Information
Golf Club Domaine Imperial is a half hour drive from Geneva International Airport. Take highway
direction Lausanne, exit in Gland and head back toward the lake road. At last intersection turn right
toward Nyon and the club entrance is after 400 metres on your left (preselection present on the
road).

Accommodation
The official hotels are Best Western Hotel Chavannes-de-Bogis and Lake Geneva Hotel
Versoix: all federations have received the accommodation booking information in December 2014
and bookings should have been made by directly contacting the hotels by end January 2015.
Transportation
Transportation will be organised between Geneva airport and the official hotels (Best Western
Chavannes and Lake Geneva Hotel), as well as between these hotels and the golf club. The
schedule will be established at a further date. If you wish to take advantage of organised
transportation kindly complete the Travel Detail Form and send back by July 1st .

Team Members Form
Kindly complete the team members form and send back by July 6th . Please be reminded that all
players must be born in 1999 or later. The handicap limit is 12.0 for boys and 16.0 for girls.

Tournament Office - Registration
The Tournament Office will be located on the first floor.
The Information Desk will be located at the Reception (ground floor).
Captains are kindly requested to register on Tuesday July 21 (all day) and Wednesday July 22
(until midday) at the Information Desk.

Catering / Accounts
Each captain will be allowed to open a restaurant account for the team, please contact the
Information Desk. Kindly make sure that all accounts are paid before departure.
The restaurant will open each day 1 hour before play. Meals will be served throughout the day in
the area designated for participants.

Wi-Fi
Available free of charge in the club house.

Lockers
Lockers with country flags on them will be designated for each team. No responsibility will be taken
for valuables or money left in the lockers or club house.

Identification
All necessary badges and passes will be included in each captain's presentation folder.

Team Photographs
The official photo session is scheduled on Wednesday July 22nd, before the Opening Ceremony.
Team captains will be informed of the photo times in due time. Dress code: Team uniforms.

Golf Bag Storage and Trolleys
Golf bags may be stored free of charge in the caddy-room however no responsibility will be taken
in case of damage or theft.
Pull-trolleys will be available free of charge in sufficient number for all competitors.

Pro Shop
The Pro Shop will open daily 1 hour before play.

Facilities on the golf course
Refreshment and snacks will be provided free of charge after the 10th hole.
Water fountains are available on holes 4, 9 and 15.
Restrooms are located on Fairway 6, Tee 11 and Tee 15.

Medical Services
Please contact Reception in case of a medical emergency. Doctors will be available at short notice.
Mobile Phones
May be used in the club house for information purposes only; participants are kindly requested to
refrain from making or taking phone calls. Phone calls may be taken or made outside of the club
house and away from the terrace.

Opening and Prize-Giving Ceremonies
The EGA directive restricts participation to team captains and players. Only team captains and
players shall march up to their respective flags.
For the Prize-Giving Ceremony, for teams ranked from last up to 4th, only the captain shall come
forward. When called to receive their medals and souvenirs, the third, second and first teams will
proceed with all players and captain included.

Payment - Banking Facilities
Cash in Swiss Francs and credit cards will be accepted at the golf club and the hotel. Currency
exchange is available at the airport, in banks and hotels.

Practice Rounds
The European Golf Association's rules stipulate that a player, Team Captain or Team Advisor who is
competing in the European Young Masters will not be allowed to practise on the championship
course for a period of thirty days before the first official practice round of the tournament, unless
he or she is a member of the club at which the championship is being played.

Practice tee-times will be available for Tuesday and Wednesday according to a pre-established
schedule which will be sent to participating federations prior to arrival. Practice balls will be
available free of charge at the driving range. Players are requested to refrain from practising long
wood shots liable to go over the security net. Practice nets are available close to the first tee.

Communications
The use of handheld transceivers (walkie-talkies) by the Team Players, Team Captain or Team
Advisor is prohibited during the Championship.

Dress Code
A reasonable standard of golf clothes (no jeans) is required at all times on the course and in the
club house. No head-gear is allowed in the club house. Only soft spikes are permitted on the
course.

Player's Party
This event will take place at Hotel Chavannes-de-Bogis: players will be transported by bus back to
the hotel after the farewell dinner.

Internet
www.golfsuisse.ch – a special section will be devoted to the EYM and livescoring will be available.
