DIVISION 1 HEAD COACH: ELISE CASAMENTO

I first came down to the Falcons in 2010 when a friend convinced me to
join the under 18s team. After 4 years and 4 premierships, 2 as Captain,
I took up the U18 Assistant Coach role.

In 2015 I became U18s Head coach, holding that role for 3 years and
steering the team to Grand Finals in each year, including the 2016 U18s
Premiership. Over that same time, I played senior footy with Darebin
before I became Assistant Coach of the NFNL Division 1 team in 2018.

I have been Head Coach since 2019 (our last season of play), when Div
1 proudly reached the Preliminary Final. In 2016, I was awarded NFNL
female Coach of the Year and was subsequently nominated for the
State female Coach of the Year, and again nominated for NFNL Coach
of the Year in 2017.

I love to continue to learn and develop as a coach, and am currently
completing my Level 2 Coaching Accreditation with the AFL and have
been a part of the ‘She Can Coach' Program, promoting AFL coaching
pathways for women. I am committed to providing a welcoming and
inclusive football program where all players can develop their footy
skills to the best of their ability. Looking forward to the season!

DIVISION 2 HEAD COACH: TOM MCGUIGAN

I have long been a fan of the pioneering work the Falcons have done
with Women's footy but what has impressed me most since becoming
involved at the Club is the passion and excitement from its leaders,
coaches and players about building on the past to cultivate something
special going forward; to create opportunity and community for the
current crop of Falcons and those yet to come.

For the past 10 years I have been involved with a community based
social football program that we build from the ground up. With a focus
on diversity, inclusivity, player development and fun we saw hundreds
of participants go from zero footy experience to becoming confident
footballers with a passion for the game and the team environment.

I'm extremely excited to lead the Division 2 program to continue this
work with a Club that was a trailblazer in the Women's footy space as
we build towards the Women's footy of the future.
