Debt ReducƟon Campaign
Thank you to the many parishioners who have paid their pledges in full and those who have faithfully donated to the Debt
Reduction Campaign over the last 2 years. Because of your generosity, we were able to make an extra payment in the
amount of $750,000 on the principal balance of our debt in January. The monthly loan payment was also made in the amount
of $18,402 … $4,532 on the principal and $13,870 interest. We plan to re-amortize the loan to lower the monthly payments to
a more manageable amount and save on interest costs. We should have the new monthly amount in time for the March
payment and will share that information.
This is the second year we have been able to make a $750,000 principal payment. Since this Debt Reduction effort is a 3
year campaign, we hope to make another large principal payment ($750,000) in early 2021. We ask that those of you who
have paid your pledge in full prayerfully consider continuing to donate to the Debt Reduction effort throughout this third year
of the campaign. We need the financial support of all St. Mary parishioners to meet our campaign goal. May God reward your
sacrifice and generosity with His blessings!
In February the SECOND COLLECTION for the Debt Reduction Campaign will be held the third full weekend February 15
and 16. Although we have a special second collection once a month, donations can be made at any time using the GRAY
envelopes or online at www.stmaryp.org. Please designate your donations as Parish Center/Capital Campaign. Keep in mind
that donations cannot be credited to a pledge unless they are received with the donor's first and last name clearly indicated.
“Parish Center/Capital Campaign”.
