Ventura Community Cat Project – February 2021

February 23, 2021 is World Spay Day!

MUTTS (c) 2017 Patrick McDonnell 1

Created by the Doris Day Animal League in 1995 as Spay Day USA, World Spay Day has been recognized by nearly 70 countries, shining a spotlight on the power of affordable, accessible spay/neuter to save
the lives of companion animals, community (feral and stray) cats and street dogs who might otherwise be put down in shelters or killed on the street.

The benefits of spay/neuter include:
A longer and healthier life for your pet
Prevention of many types of cancers
Reducing the urge to roam away from home
Reducing negative behaviors such as marking or aggression
Faster recovery for puppies and kittens
For affordable spay/neuter options please go to www.letssnipit.org for a list of clinics in the area.

REMEMBER - All Ventura Community Cats are spayed/neutered/vaccinated for FREE! Please call 203-253-1934 for more information.
