     SPONSORS - NETWORKING SESSIONS
     FRIDAY, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM & SATURDAY, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
     BSC - FOUNDERS SUITE
HOSTED BY JONATHAN MEIER AND JOE PULIO

Join us for an informal networking session with other theatre educators, as we discuss relevant topics of the
day. Theatre teachers can often feel a sense of isolation in their own buildings, as we are the only ones who
deal with the challenges of being a teacher in our chosen area. Come prepared with topics of which you would
like to discuss among your fellow theatre educators. Possible topics could include choosing a season, dealing
with administrators, teaching during a pandemic, where to find resources or handling onstage intimacy. If you
currently have a challenge in your classroom or in your productions, bring it to our networking session.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 7
9:00 am - 11:00 am ART (Niles West High School)
CE - Westhoff by Yesmina Reza
                              Samuel Rosenfeld, Director
A bold intellectual French comedy. Join us as three best friends discover the
power of art, money, and pride when one of these friends decides to buy an
extremely expensive painting. An all white painting with three white lines on it. The
long-time friends discover there’s much more at play here than a mere difference
of taste. What begins as a quarrel over artistic merit devolves into a heated
appraisal of their friendship itself, and the three experience how easily a simple
disagreement can turn personal. Winner of Olivier Award, New York Drama Critics’
Circle Award, and Tony Award for Best Play.

9:00 am - 11:00 am PUFFS (Carmel Catholic High School)
CPA - Concert by Matt Cox
                              Ariel Mozes, Director
Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,
is a Potter parody that gives the audience a new look at a very familiar adventure.
For seven years, a certain wizard boy-who-lived went to a copyrighted School of
Magic and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the
Puffs... who just happened to be there too. While we may not always be the hero
of every story, we always will belong to someone else’s. Puffs, through satire,
laughter, and a few tears, teaches us the importance of everyone’s journey-
especially the side characters. Puffs is a play for those who feel like they’re always
left out, always on the outside, always a side character. Puffs is not authorized,
sanctioned, licensed or endorsed by J.K Rowling, Warner Bros. or any person or
company associated with the Harry Potter books, films or play. Any resemblance
to any persons, real or fictitious, is your mind playing tricks on you.
