Breaking News from the SBA Office of
Credit Risk Management
Lender Portal enhancements include additional
quantitative metrics and risk management tools
The SBA Office of Credit Risk Management (OCRM) is pleased to announce
that the Lender Portal has been updated to include features which will increase
transparency between OCRM and lenders, and also increase lenders' ability to

monitor and retrieve their own SBA portfolio performance metrics on a quarterly
basis. The update to the portal includes but is not limited to:

      Addition of graphical representations of PARRiS/SMART metrics and
       benchmarks across time
      Additional PARRiS Flags
      Addition of the number of loans and dollars that contribute to specific
       rates
      Addition of Vintage year segmentation
      Addition of Delivery method segmentation
      Addition of Form 172 payment information
      Addition of Concentration tables for Industries, Franchises, and
       Geography
Since this is such a comprehensive update to the information being shared with
lenders, SBA OCRM will be providing 2 webinar trainings a week on the
lender portal and the associated metrics for the month of September. The
trainings will take place every Monday 4pm EST and Friday 3pm EST and will
start on September 10th and end on October 5th.

New SBA Lender Decal
                             Contact your Lender Relations
                             Specialist and order today
                             The SBA has updated their branding and created
                             a new logo exclusively for use by SBA
                             lenders. New decals are now available through
                             the SBA Indiana District Office. Old SBA logos
                             should be removed immediately and replaced
                             with new versions. Please notify the Indiana
                             District SBA Office if you need new window cling
                             decals or would like additional ones for lender

Upcoming Events
Joint Agency Rural Lender Workshop: Government
Guaranteed Loans
At this program, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S.
Department of Agriculture will jointly present their programs to help rural
lenders increase lending to small businesses. We will be providing information
on how these guarantees can be used to support business lending, and we will

be comparing and contrasting the programs.

                                   Joint Agency Rural Lender Workshop

Mark your calendars and save the date for the Indiana Lenders Forum, to be
held on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at the Speedway Indoor Karting facility
at 1067 N Main Street, Speedway, IN 46224. A registration page will be set up
soon.

National Small Business Week Awards

Nomination packages are due January 9, 2019
The U.S. Small Business Administration is now accepting nominations for its
2019 National Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small
Business Person of the Year.

“This is a great opportunity to recognize those small businesses that have
contributed significantly to their local communities, developed creative products
or made advances with innovative technologies,” SBA Administrator Linda
McMahon said. “A National Small Business Week award is one of the nation’s
highest honors for small business achievement. I encourage you to visit our
dedicated website www.sba.gov/nsbw to download forms, criteria and
guidelines for submitting a nomination. I look forward to your nomination and
wish you the best of luck.”

All nominations must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. EST, Jan. 9, 2019. All
nomination packages must be hand delivered or mailed to the nearest SBA
Office. Email submissions of SBA Awards forms will not be accepted as they
contain personally identifiable information (PII). For more information and
