REFUND POLICY AND PROCEDURE
It is the intention of Shawnee County Parks + Recreation (SCP+R)
to offer a refund and/or account credit for participants who qualify
and meet the requirements. Participants who paid by cash, check
or credit card will be issued a refund by check. All check refunds
follow the County Treasurer’s bill paying schedule. There are no
cash refunds.

Programs may be combined or cancelled due to insufficient
enrollment. A full refund or account credit will be issued for
programs, sports leagues or shelter reservations cancelled by the
SCP+R Department. Credit card refunds can only be processed if

TULIP TIME INCLUDES THREE

TULIPS AT TWILIGHT
Old Prairie Town/Ward-Meade Botanical Garden
Becoming one of Topeka’s favorite special events,
APRIL Tulips at Twilight features more than 35 lighted

displays including larger-than-life illuminated flowers
and more than 40,000 multi-colored tulips. Bring a
friend and stroll along lighted pathways.
Enjoy live music and historic Old Prairie Town tours
on Friday and Saturday evenings. The garden is
open Sunday through Thursday for a more tranquil
experience. This event is hosted by the Friends

TULIP TIME FESTIVAL AT THE LAKE
Ted Ensley Gardens/Lake Shawnee
The very popular Tulip Time Festival at the Lake
returns to Ted Ensley Gardens again this year. Grab
lunch from your favorite food truck, enjoy musical
performances, visit the craft vendors, sit in on a master
gardener class and, of course, stroll the gardens to
view 60,000 tulips in bloom on a beautiful spring day.
