A conjugação da instabilidade social e política decorrente das eleições para o parlamento e
Presidente da República, assim como a mudança do Ponto Focal Nacional e o início da
6. pandemia impactaram negativamente o regular funcionamento do Comité Nacional de
Nutrição, que foi retomado em Março de 2020. Os membros do Comité Nacional de Nutrição
passaram a comunicar essencialmente através de email e do grupo whatsapp criado para o
efeito. Neste período foi possível realizar encontros presenciais parciais, principalmente entre
o Ponto Focal Nacional e os Pontos Focais do setor da saúde e das Nações Unidas.

Movement annual progress report.
Durante o período em referência não foram feitas reuniões físicas do Comité. Foi um período político e
social muito conturbado com eleições parlamentares e presidenciais, seguidas de mudança do Ponto
Focal Nacional SUN, mudança de governo e desencadeamento da pandemia do Coronavirus, com
declaração de estado de emergência, que determinou restrições de mobilidade e reuniões. Entretanto,
após a designação da nova Ponto Focal Nacional SUN, o comité foi redinamizado através de
comunicação por email e whatsapp.

Durante o período em referência não foram feitas reuniões físicas do Comité. Foi um período político e
social muito conturbado com eleições parlamentares e presidenciais, seguidas de mudança do Ponto
Focal Nacional SUN, mudança de governo e desencadeamento da pandemia do Coronavirus, com
declaração de estado de emergência, que determinou restrições de mobilidade e reuniões. Entretanto,
após a designação da nova Ponto Focal Nacional SUN, o comité foi redinamizado através de
comunicação por email e whatsapp.
