               WANTED: Volunteer
Coordinator(s) for MenzShed Wellington - Hataitai

MenzShed Wellington can be found in the grounds of the
Hataitai Centre on Arcus Way. The MenzShed is a space where
people can work on their own repair and building projects.
And also contribute to community projects and share skills
with others.

The MenzShed Hataitai has been undergoing a face lift over
the last year and are looking for volunteers to share and
support each other in the role of coordinator to open the
shed (ideally, three mornings a week) and ensure the smooth
running of projects and safety of the ‘sheddies'. The days and
hours of opening are flexible and negotiable.

It would be preferred if you had a background in a trade
like a builder, cabinetmaker, woodworker etc and have a
sound knowledge of working with wood and safe practices
with equipment. We need you to be approachable and to
encourage and support people to use the facility.
