    Easter Monday 2020

I would like to wish everyone a very
happy and safe Easter. And as you enjoy
your Chocolate eggs remember all the
symbolism that goes with them. The
new life that Jesus brings as he is raised
to new life on Easter Sunday.
With all blessings, love and prayers Rev
                                       Trish.
Happy Easter Rev Trish from everyone
at Hollycombe—we miss seeing you and
hearing the Easter Story in assembly.

hippy commune now. I hope no one calls the

Hollycombe at Home Update 3 Easter Monday 2020
Team One have been on duty at school this week. They have also been working on the deep cleaning of our
school following the latest guidance from the DfE on Covid19 (Infection Control in non-healthcare Settings).
So we know our school is as safe as it can be for any one who is coming in.
Team One also had lots of fun looking after keyworker children this week: it involved being outside in the
sunshine, and having pizza and icecream - thanks to Mrs Portman!
Team Two are back on duty next week and looking forward to providing keyworker childcare for mums and
dads who are working in critical jobs.

(Cont’d) I made a volcano out of clay and painted it then mixed the following ingredients
to create a reaction: juice of a lemon, drops of red food colouring, spoon of flour and half
of the same spoon of baking soda. I firstly mixed the ingredients in the volcano then final-

more volcano experiments over the holidays with different ingredients.
Take care everyone. Stay safe!

Hollycombe at Home Update 3 Easter Monday 2020
Dear Mrs Pearce and all the Hollycombe families,
Lovely to hear from you. We are all very well and making the most of our unexpected family-time. We have settled into a new routine
and are very appreciative of the support and assistance you and others at the school are providing. We love reading the newsletter!
Charli's auntie and uncle both work at NHS Brighton and Sussex University Hospital (BSUH). In case the children are interested, here
is a pic of Charli's Auntie Rachel in her PPE getting ready to help the patients!
The BSUH NHS Trust has set up a campaign to support staff wellbeing whilst fighting coronavirus and we have heard back from the
Trust's fundraising manager that all the funds raised by the Readathon will be donated to this campaign.
The fundraising manager has confirmed there are two ways to get the fundraising to them (shown below).

But another way may be to set up a JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/helpbsuh.

Best wishes

Sarah
