7.   13.00     THE WARWICKSHIRE HUNT SUPPORTERS’ CHALLENGE
               CUP
               Donated by the late Major R.P.G Dill; horse or pony to be owned and ridden
               by a child of 16 years or under who is a member of The Warwickshire Hunt
               Supporters Club. Membership can be taken on the field. All competitors will
               be required to jump several fences and judging will be on confirmation
               (40%), manners and performance (60%).
               Prizes: Challenge Cup, £5, £4, £3.50, £3.00. Rosettes to 6th place.

                  This is a fun, family class.

16.   11.00       BEST FAMILY PONY
                  Not exceeding 14.2 h.h. to be ridden by a child of 12 years and under.
                  Prizes: Whatcote Challenge Cup

17.   11.45       BEST UNPLAITED MANE AND TAIL
                  12 years and under.
                  Prizes: Challenge Cup & Rosettes to 6th place.

CLASSES 18 & 19 WILL NOT START UNTIL THE FANCY DRESS AND TANTIVY HAVE FINISHED

18.   14.30       BEST MATCHED PONY AND CHILD
                  Best matched pony and child, pony not exceeding 13.2 h.h. to be ridden by a
                  child aged 12 years and under, to be shown on or off the leading rein. This is
                  NOT a show pony class.
                  Prizes: Challenge Cup donated by Mr and Mrs B Cummins
                  Rosettes to 6th place.

19.   15.15       LEADING REIN
                  Best pony suitable for a beginner, not exceeding 12.2 h.h. to be ridden by a
                  child aged 8 years and under.
                  Prizes: The MacGregor Challenge Cup donated by Miss Beverley Daffum
                  The Joe Wilkes Memorial Challenge Cup awarded to the highest placed
                  competitor who resides in the Warwickshire Hunt Country and whose
                  parents are members of the WHSC.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. The Committee’s decisions regarding all matters appertaining to the Show shall be final.
2. The Judges’ decision shall be final.
3. Any competitor lodging an objection must do so in writing and deposit it, with the sum of
   £5.00, with the Secretary within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the event. Deposit returned
   if objection upheld.
4. The Committee reserve the right to have measured any pony competing in a class where
   there is a height stipulation. Only current height certificates under Joint Measurement
   Scheme accepted.
5. Competitors must obey any instructions given by the Stewards.
6. Any competitor may be disqualified from any class for not observing the Rules, or for causing
   unnecessary delay to the continuity of the Show.
7. No responsibility will be accepted by the Committee for any accident to persons, animals or
   vehicles.
8. It is a condition of participation at or admission to the Honington Show that participation
   and/or admission is at the risk of the participant or person admitted and that the
   participant or person admitted agrees not to make any claim against the Committee/
   organizers of the Honington Show or against the landowner, whose land the Honington
   Show is permitted to use.
9. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR HORSE AND CHILD ARE ATTENDED DURING THE HOUND
   PARADE AND TANTIVY.
10. The number that each competitor will receive must be worn.
11. The Committee reserves the right to alter the schedule at their discretion.
12. All cups are perpetual and must be returned to The Committee by 1st June 2022.
    You will be contacted by email or phone as a reminder to all cup-holders.
13. Jackets and hard hats as approved by the hard hat rules of The Pony Club (www.pcuk.org)
    must be worn. Spurs are not allowed to be worn by children under 16 years old.
14. Advance entries for all classes to be made on the forms provided to:

    ALL entries and payments for the entries must be received by Wednesday 30th June 2021.
    Entries: £8.00 per class by BACS unless otherwise specified.
15. Entries will not be accepted on the day.
16. In all classes the age qualification applying to competitors relates to their age on the day of
   the show.
17. No entry fees will be refunded.
18. £10.00 deposit required for all cups and trophies.
19. VET ON CALL: Hook Norton Veterinary Group – 01608 730 085. Should any veterinary
   treatment be required on the day it will be the person attending with the relevant animal to
   be responsible for this and any payment of any fees becoming due at the result of
   consultation.
