Service Challenge

•   ZI and ZIF support long term projects according to ZONTA‘s mission

•   ZI and the Zonta clubs initiate and support programs to fight the
    cause and effect of inequality.

•   There is a close cooperation between ZI and governments as well as
    the UN and like minded NGO‘s.

•   Set up active and informed archive and history programs
    in clubs and districts.
•   Explore and develop a concept for a Centennial History,

    Anniversary.

Preparations for the Centennial Anniversary (1)
2010-2012: Focus: Archival collections.

2012-2014: Focus: Club histories
• Designate a Club Historian.
• Create a club history in brief.
• Forward to District Historian.

2014-2016: Focus: District Histories
• District Historian creates a history in brief.
• Historian D14: Franziska Wein, ZC Erfurt.

2014-2016
• Defining a concept for the history and how presented – in electronic
  or printed form.
Preparations for the Centennial Anniversary (2)
2016-2018:
• Ideas and media toolkit will be provided on website.
• Event checklists on ZI website.
• Tips for ‚Centennial Award‘.
• New Centennial Logo will be released.
• Letterhead and Power Point templates.
• Zonta‘s history will be published in order to be used as a PR tool or
  for exhibitions.
• Book: ‚Stories of Empowerment‘.
• Portraits of great women who shaped ZONTA to share via social
  media and a print book.
Celebrations in 2019
•   Not only one year but one entire biennium (2018 – 2020) of
    celebrations.

•   Kick off at Convention 2018 in Yokohama

•   ZI Headquarters plan to celebrate during Founders Day
    weekend, November 8 to 10 but also later in 2020.

•   Common action on November 8, Zonta‘s birthday.
