RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Business Cup is subject to the race rules and regulations of World Sailing and the rules of the
ORC (latest issue). Concerning safety, Croatian regulations apply.
The notation [DP] within a rule of the open call or within the sailing instructions means, that the
penalty for breaching this rule given by the protest committee can be lesser than disqualification.
The notation [NP] within a rule of the open call or within the sailing instructions means, that a par-
ticipant can not protest for breaching this rule.
Anti doping regulations of the World Sailing and Austrian Anti doping national act 2007 apply.
Persons suspended or barred due to doping will not be permitted to participate.
The two-turn penalty according to WRS 44.1 and 44.2 will be applicable.
For the one design classes the regulations of the OeSV apply.
ADMISSION
Internationally open for business teams and crews with slup rigged monohulls with built-in motor
larger than 30 feet (businesses will be mentioned in the list of results with a max of 20 characters).
Yachts smaller than 30 feet are permitted if they have a GPH smaller than 670 (without spi smaller
than 720).
Changes and misprints reserved! Page 2NOTICE OF RACE All Yachts must have a valid HJS vignette for season 2019 and must disclose the number to Pitter Yachtcharter by the 15.04.2019. All boats (except the one-design classes Bavaria Cruiser 41S and Bavaria Cruiser 45) must have a valid ORC-certificate for 2019 and must have handed this over to Pitter Yachtcharter by the 15.04.2019. For possible costs for amendments in the ORC measuring certificate, participants must compensate (as per current price list OeSV/HJS). [NP] All boats of the class without spinnaker may use during the entire race only a storm jib and a headsail (Genoa). The booming out of the Genoa with the spinnaker boom included in the ORC certificate is permitted. The removal of furnishings, doors and equipment is prohibited. Yachts that use trapezes or outrig- gers, to shift the weight of sailors, are not permitted. All skippers must comply with the lawful regulations for skippering yachts in Croatia. Skippers and co skippers must be registered members for the year 2019, within a national union or a national association. The member numbers must be registered within the race registration system by the 30.04.2019. All yachts must be fully insured. EVALUATION
There are 5 races with one deletion. If less than 4 races are sailed there will be no deletion. As-
sessment according to ORC – Club Performance Line (windward/leeward respectively ocean for
PCS).
Overall standings according to appendix A of the WRS.
GROUPS
One-design class Bavaria Cruiser 41S with spinnaker
One-design class Bavaria Cruiser 45 with gennaker
Group ORC with spinnaker - assessment according to ORC-Club - Performance Line.
Group ORC without spinnaker - during the entire regatta the one and only foresail may be
used. Additional sails are not permitted. The booming out of the genoa with the spinnaker
boom is permitted. Participation in this group is tied to the consent of the sports management.
This guarantees a homogenous group (without optimised owner or racer yachts). Assessment
according to ORC-Club - Performance Line.
Depending on the number of participants within one group, under groups may be formed.
Groups with less than 5 boats can be merged with other groups.
If several boats of the same type race, they will be assessed within their own group.
The one-design boats will be assigned after the registration.

Groupchanges after the 30.04.2019 need clearance from the organisers. For group changes after the 15.05.2019 a fee of EUR 50,- will have to be paid. MARKETING Advertising space on sails, hulls and railings are subject to Pitter Yachtcharter approval. According to the Croatian sailing union charter, a fee can be applicable to participants; EUR 28 (up to LüA 12m) or EUR 35 (over 12m LüA). Every other PR event or marketing tool during the race event is subject to Pitter Yachtcharter appro- val. On participating yachts the following surfaces are assigned to the organiser’s advertising: 20% of the bow hull, flags for the standing backstay and parts of the main boom. [DP] [NP] MEDIA AND PRESS RECORDINGS Participants consent that any person or yacht participating on land or water might be recorded and that these recordings, stills, video or audio may be used. NOTICE OF RACE AUSTRIAN OFFSHORE TROPHY The Business Cup is part of the regatta series of the Austrian Offshore Trophy. EVENT PACKAGE EVENT PACKAGE PER YACHT € 270,- Includes: the entire organisation and handling, daily up-to-date coverage online, on-site sail makers, divers and service team, mooring fees within the marinas at theses dates 02.06.-06.06.2019,.... EVENT PACKAGE PER PARTICIPANT € 280,- Includes: good breakfast buffet on race days, opening buffet, great social programme (pontoon party with free beer and music, use of the marina facilities, dinner during the event days, Business Cup souvenir, press coverage, … It also includes the entry fee of HRK 100,- for the Croatian organiser Yacht Club Biograd. METHOD OF PAYMENT A deposit of EUR 500,- is to be paid within 14 days of registration Boats, whose deposit is not paid within 14 days of registration, will be erased from the registration list, so as to allow other participants to register. The rest is to be paid by the 13.04.2019. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation of boats before the 13.04.2019 the deposit expires. Cancellations of boats after the 13.04.2019 the deposit for the event package expires; additio- nally terms and conditions for cancellation of individual participants apply. Cancellation of individual participants after the 13.04.2019 the deposit of € 100,- per person expires. The rest of the deposited amount will be refunded in form of a credit voucher for another regatta. Changes and misprints reserved! Page 6

LIABILITY
Participants sail at their own risk (WRS4). The organisers are not liable for any losses, damages or
injuries to people, yachts or other. This applies to situations on water and land.
REGISTRATION REGULATIONS

Registration order occurs via registration/payment receipt.
Registration must occur via the online registration system.
Pitter Yachtcharter reserves the right to conduct the regatta only after a minimum of 15 yachts.
