Last month’s rally had to be cancelled due to terrible weather, but our
AGM went ahead, albeit modified due to social distancing require- AGM P4

awarded due to the cancellation of so many events which meant that

many awards were still able to be presented to give us some sem-

We also bid farewell to Mike Smith as President, after many years of
service to the club. Both his reputation statewide as a knowledgeable DRESSAGE P8

life have been an asset to the sport and he will be sadly missed—if he

Another departure is our uniform aficionado Jo Grover, who has over-
seen many a growing child though the bits and bobs that are part mak-
ing our members look both smart and a part of our community and we
thank her years at the helm of this important part of pony club.
And finally the wonderful Julia Willoughby is hanging up the apron and
tongs after 3 years of shopping, organising and cooking in the hub of
the club, canteen. Everyone appreciates hot food and snack options
during rallies and events, not to mention being the engine room of
fundraising for the many expenses involved in our organisation.
Cheers Julia and now you can actually come and watch!

I was nervous at the beginning but at the end I was really happy with my results. The dressage was fun. I
tried to smile at the judge a lot. The cross country and jumping were fun. Waiting around for my turn was
a bit nerve-wracking but overall I had a really good time. Morgan Holmes

I really enjoyed it, especially because it was very friendly and encouraging and fun. At the start I was real-
ly worried of what might go wrong but then I did my dressage and jumping and cross country finished and
