•   Create the 2nd Edition of the IATF 16949 Standard
•   Create a single IT system for the management of the IATF
•   Ensure a consistent QMS for sub-tier automotive suppliers
•   Institutionalize IATF 16949 QMS for certified suppliers

IAOB CB Award Program
• To recognize IAOB-contracted CBs who achieve high levels of performance

• Criteria drives continual improvement in the processes that are critical to support the
  IATF 16949 automotive scheme and third-party certification

• Criteria based on weighted grading scale:
    ➢   Performance Complaints
    ➢   IATF Database timeliness and accuracy of entries
    ➢   Timeliness and quality of CB responses to nonconformities issued during IAOB audits
    ➢   Soft Auditing/Soft Grading
    ➢   CB Innovation/Partnership

• Three levels of performance (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) achieved over 12-month period

AIAG Certification Body Membership 2022
• To further support the IAOB contracted CBs, the IAOB will cover the cost of AIAG
  Membership for all IAOB-contracted CBs in 2022

    ➢ AIAG Membership covers 1st January 2022 – 31st December 2022

    ➢ Membership comes with access to discounted or free manuals, training, events, webcasts, and
      sponsorship/exhibiting discounts

    ➢ Opportunities to volunteer on committees working on industry solutions
      (WebEx is available on almost all committees so we can have global participation)
AIAG Certification Body Membership 2022
• Members receive Free Access to Quality Core Tools assessments and six on-line
  training classes (eLearnings). The Automotive Quality Core Tools manuals and
  classroom training are all discounted for members, and they include:
    ➢   Advanced Product Quality Planning & Control Plan (APQP)
    ➢   Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
    ➢   Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    ➢   Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
    ➢   Statistical Process Control (SPC)
          ex. The APQP is $30 for members, $150 for non-members

• We encourage taking the Core Tools Self-Assessment to determine in what areas
  individuals may need training or a refresher
• The Quality Core Tools webpage will help individuals determine which classes to
  take based on their needs/level of expertise
