BASADI BA AFRICA’S TIMELINE
Woman have historically been excluded from playing a major role in capital equipment for the Mining &
Quarrying Industries – In order to address the past indiscretions, a group of likeminded Woman got
together and identified various opportunities within this space that is so sadly lacking for Woman, then:
- 2016 we approached two businesses that have over a100 years collective experience in marketing
and selling Vibratory Equipment to the Mining & Quarrying Industries and manufacture their designs
locally.
CONCEPTUALIZED - They had two different ranges of vibratory equipment, one being the more commonly known Brute Force type
2016
that all competitors in South Africa sell; and the other the lesser known Kinetic energy saving design that does
the same job of work, but uses a minimum of 60% less power size-for-size to operate.
- These would give us the ability to sell and support vibratory equipment into every mine & quarry.
- The Kinetic Units unique design would however differentiate us from all other traditional competitors.
ESTABLISHED 2017 - EST. 2017 successfully negotiated our own Brute Force I.P; Became Agents for Kinetic Energy Saving Ranges.
- 2018 was spent Identifying the many opportunities in Mining & Quarrying segments for local, transformed
Companies, also looked for turn-key Solutions that could create jobs and empower communities with
DEVELOPED 2018 opportunities for HDSA’s.
- Identified and met with many strategic partners whose technologies would add value to our business model
going forward and allow us to offer turn-key energy saving Projects.
- Met with Government and DMR to get buy-in and endorsement of the Business Model that long
term can create Business opportunities by targeting rock dumps.
MARKET 2019
- 2019 The introduction of Basadi to market and the start of growing the biggest Transformed Mining supplies company
on the African Continent that can stimulate fabrication, transfer skills, tap into beneficiation opportunities and uplift
communities surrounding mines.
- In the long run, to also purchase the Kinetic I.P. and designs through raising of capital, socio economic plans etc.

Every Sasol Mine currently uses traditional Brute Force Vibratory Screens, Feeders and Grizzlies - In the event of
Sasol needing to upgrade or replace an existing unit, Basadi can retrofit the unit onto the exact same footprint OR
design completely new units for new Projects.
