EVIDENCE BASED INNOVATIONS IN ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY
The Young Implantologists Program
and Pre-Congress Courses on October 15, 2015WELCOME LETTER
Welcome to...
ICOI World Congress XXXII in Berlin, Germany
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the ICOI, DGOI and BDIZ EDI, we would
like to welcome you to a unique World Congress.
For the first time, the ICOI will join hands with two
German Societies, the Deutsche Geselleshaft für
Orale Implantolgie (DGOI) and the Bundesverband
Der Implantologisch Tätigen Zahnärzte (BDIZ EDI) in
Europa E.V. as we present ICOI World Congress XXXII
in the German capital, Berlin. The Congress will be
held October 15-17, 2015 at the Maritim Hotel Berlin in
the heart of this bustling city. Berlin has become more
than just the capital, it now represents the focal point
of European culture, education and industry.
Our faculty for this Congress brings together clinicians and academicians from
around the world as they present the latest in dental implantology on topics from soft
tissue applications around implants, growth factors in surgical healing, treatment of
periimplantitis, digital communication skills for minimally invasive surgery and
much more.
On Thursday, October 15th, we will begin with a four-hour Young Implantologists Program,
followed by several Pre-Congress courses by our sponsors, all of which are no charge.
Delegates will want to take advantage of what is new on the horizon as presented by our
“up and coming” young implantologists.
The Congress Social Schedule will include our customary Welcome Reception on Thursday
evening and will feature a Gala Dinner on Friday night with musical entertainment
guaranteed to get you on the dance floor.
Please join us for this three-day educational and social event in an unforgettable city…
Berlin.
Best regards from your program committee,

POSTER PRESENTATIONS Thursday, October 15, 2015 | 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm You don’t have to be a Main Podium speaker to participate in our ICOI World Congress XXXII. Why not plan a Poster Presentation? A “proven training ground” for future and current Main Podium speakers, the very popular Poster competition will be held in tandem with our Welcome Reception in the Exhibition Hall on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. It allows presenters to interact with colleagues in a social, yet instructive manner. Poster presentations should display a challenging case in a limited time format, i.e. 5-7 minutes, so that the case can be repeated as new observers gather. The posters will be placed (tacked or taped) on boards at the beginning of the symposium and will remain on display throughout the symposium. Presentations will be judged, with the winners receiving awards and main podium consideration for future ICOI meetings. REMEMBER, ALL FELLOWS, MASTERS AND DIPLOMATES WHO CONDUCT POSTER PRESENTATIONS HELP FULFILL THEIR FIVE-YEAR MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS. Parties interested in conducting a Poster Presentation must contact the Chairs for this competition, Dr. Avi Schetritt and Dr. Werner Stermann, to request an application. Requests must be submitted by August 1, 2015. Dr. Avi Schetritt – Email: dravi@perio.org Dr. Werner Stermann – Email: werner.stermann@t-online.de 8 ICOI World Congress XXXII
