welcome to the mountains at Spitzingsee. We are very pleased that you are here and may give you a brief overview
of our range of services on the following pages.

Adapter You can borrow a deposit of € 20 at the reception free of charge.
Additional ceiling on request you can get an additional blanket, please contact our

Airport / flight tickets The nearest airport is Munich Erding; the distance is about 95 km.
The reception will be happy to take care of flight reservations and
changes in bookings for you, or you can use our free Internet
access in the hotel lobby or in the Seehof-Foyer.
Allergy sufferers In order to be able to optimally prepare us for your allergy
requests, please inform the reception before arrival if you would
like allergy-friendly bed linen or specially prepared dishes for
breakfast and dinner
AlpenSPA You will find our wellness area in the main building in the basement.
Please note that children under the age of 12 are not admitted between 12.30
p.m. and 3.00 p.m., so that lunch can be guaranteed for all house guests.
Family sauna: Children from 6-15 years can use the saunas from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m. accompanied by adults
Soletherme:
The water in our brine thermal baths is enriched with brine. The concentration
is about 2%. The water temperature is 32 ° C in winter / 30 ° C in summer.
Spending time in the water not only helps you relax, it also has a beneficial
effect on tension and rheumatism.
Children's pool:
The pool for our little guests is 30 cm deep and filled with fresh water. The
temperature here is approx. 34 ° C.
Sauna:
In our wellness area you will find a steam bath (50 ° C / 100% humidity), a
mountain blossom sauna (50 ° C - 60 ° C / 50% humidity), a mountain
sauna (70 ° C / 20% humidity) and a Finnish sauna (85 ° C-90 ° C / 10%

Beverage service We offer from 06.30 - 23.00 o'clock room service for drinks for a service
surcharge of € 2,-. You are welcome to pick up a large bottle of Bad
Brambacher mineral water 0,7l at our hotel bar or in the restaurant and
take it to your room for € 3.00.
Bicycles We will be happy to organise bicycles (subject to a fee) for you. We also
recommend our E-Bikes (see E-Bikes).C
Car Rental/Taxi Rental car and taxi can be arranged by the reception

Doormat With the doormat you can comfortably clean the shoes from coarse dirt
without having to bend down. The bootjack makes it easy to take off
stuck boots. The doormat with boot jack is located at the main entrance.

E-Bikes Electric bikes can be rented for a fee at the reception. You can also get further
information there. A charging station is located in front of the main entrance.
E-Car A charging station behind the Seehof building is available free of
charge for the electric cars

Glasses Forgot your glasses? No problem! We have different gauges and

Gym For sports activities you can use our fitness room with the equipment of
the company "Life Fitness". You will find it in the connecting corridor
between the main building and the Seehof building. Opening hours from
7.00 - 22.00 hrs
Children and young people under the age of 16 may only use the fitness
equipment when accompanied by their parents.
Games Are available on loan at the reception.
Garage In our underground car park there are 70 chargeable parking spaces
available. A fee of 9.00 EUR per day and parking space is charged from
April to October and 12.00 EUR from November to March. We will

Breakfast
Monday to Friday we offer our rich breakfast buffet in the restaurant from 7.00 -
10.30 o'clock, Saturday and Sunday and on holidays from 7.00 - 11.00 o'clock. Of
course we serve breakfast in your room on advance booking. You will find an order
card for this in your information folder.
Lunch
From 12.00 - 14.00 in the restaurant. Here you can expect our extensive lunch
buffet or a selection à la carte.
Dinner in the restaurant
Dinner is served from 18.30 to 21.00 hours.
From 21.00 to 22.30 you can choose from our small menu.
Snacks
From 14.00 - 18.30 and from 21.00 - 22.00 we serve from the
afternoon or evening menu in the restaurant, on the terrace or at the
hotel bar. The restaurant is closed from 17.00 to 18.30 hrs.

In our Osteria we serve specialities from the regions of Liguria,
Piedmont and Tuscany as well as pasta and pizza dishes.

(except closing times in the low season and due to closed events)
half board
Half board consists of a 4-course menu or buffet (depending on the
daily offer). On Friday and Saturday we are also happy to serve you
half board in our Osteria L'Oliva.
If you would like to cancel your reservation for half board, please
inform us by 12.00 noon at our reception or in the restaurant.
Cancellations after 12.00 o'clock can unfortunately not be considered
for organisational reasonsWine cellar
Our internationally sorted wine cellar offers a wide selection for every
taste and occasion.
If a wine has tasted particularly good to you and you would like to
enjoy it at home, you can also get it at a favourable out-of-home
sales price. We will be happy to advise you.
We organize wine tastings for you from 15.00 € per person with a
number of participants from 6 to 20 persons. Please register in
advance.
Hotel bar
Our hotel bar is open daily from 18.00 hours. During the season a solo entertainer
plays for you - of course you are also allowed to dance. Please note our large
selection of whisky specialities.
coffee and cakes
We serve cakes and ice cream specialities in the restaurant, on the
terrace and in the hotel lobby. On Saturday afternoons from 14.30 -
16.30 we offer you our pampering board with coffee, cake and hearty
delicacies.
Lunchbox
We will be happy to prepare a packed lunch for you on request for an
excursion or your journey home. Please order it the evening before at the
restaurant or at the reception.

We are happy to serve you food and drinks in your room. For this we
charge you a service surcharge of 4,00 € or 2,00 € for drinks.
You can see our breakfast offer from the enclosed order form. Please
place your orders between 6.30 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. directly to the

Events / Celebrations
We would be pleased to advise you on the planning of family celebrations,
business lunches, conferences and meetings. Please contact the staff of the

Half board When booking an arrangement including half board, a
Cancellation once during 7 nights stay possible, the

Internet-Terminal In the foyer of our main building as well as in the foyer of the Seehof
conference centre a total of 2 computers with free internet access as
well as printers are at your disposal.
Invoice On the day of your departure or even the evening before, the reception
will prepare your hotel invoice. Of course we accept card payments
with EC-Cash, Euro/Mastercard, VISA, and American Express.
Cash payments on credit cards are only possible against a fee of 5%.
Unfortunately we cannot accept crossed cheques.
Ironing service / Laundry We offer ironing service within 1 hour. Laundry will be returned within
12 hours if delivered by 9.00 am. Please contact the reception desk
for this. On request, we will bring you an iron - and board to your

Parking Please park your car in the parking lots in front of the main entrance
or behind the Seehof. Further parking spaces are available in our
underground car park (for a fee of 9.00 EUR/night from April to
October / 12.00 EUR/night from November to March).
Parking service We can park your car for you on request. Please hand in your car
key at the reception.Pets Your dogs and cats are also welcome in our hotel. Per animal and night
we take the liberty of charging 18.00 € (without food). However, we
kindly ask you not to take pets into the restaurants and the AlpenSPA
and to keep them on a leash throughout the hotel grounds.
Upon availability we will provide the Josefistube for breakfast and
dinner with your dog. Please inquire directly at the restaurant.
You will find our dog shower in the underground car park. You are
welcome to use this service free of charge.
Pharmacy The nearest pharmacy is in Neuhaus.
We would be pleased to organise your medication from this pharmacy for a fee
of € 5,-. The pharmacy emergency service calendar is available at the reception.
Pillow selection An extensive range of cushions is available on request. You will find a

Photocopies It is always possible to obtain copies from reception for a fee.
Post Please hand in your outgoing mail at reception. This will be posted daily

Sauna Children under 16 years of age are not allowed in the sauna/rest area
except for the family sauna, from 18.00 to 20.00. Children under 16
years of age may enter the sauna area during this time when
accompanied by an adult. see also "AlpenSPA".
Safety deposit box It's in your room. We ask you to deposit items of greater value in a safe,
which is available free of charge at the reception. Otherwise the hotel
management will not be responsible for any loss. We cannot accept any
liability for valuables left in the room.
Seehof Our conference centre "Seehof" has 8 individual room variations for a
maximum of 160 people. All rooms can be reached at ground level and
are equipped with daylight or darkening facilities. State-of-the-art
conference technology, exquisite furnishings and the unique location
allow for concentrated and efficient work and make every event a
success. We would be pleased to advise you in the planning of your

Sewing service Buttons off, pants ripped open, anything like that? - No problem, our
housekeeping will gladly take over small sewing jobs for you. Please

Shoe polishing machine You will find it in the staircase of the main building and the Seehof
building.
Shuttle service If you have arrived by train, we will gladly organize a taxi service from the train
station Schliersee-Fischhausen to the hotel or on the day of departure from
the hotel to the train station. There is a charge for this service. For a stay of 7
days or more the hotel will cover the costs if you book at least 24 hours in
advance.
Sleds We are happy to lend you sledges free of charge at the reception.
Smokers Lounge Smoking is allowed here and there is a television set and many books

room number instead, callers can reach you directly in your room.
You can also program a wake-up call via your telephone. The selection
is made via the keypad.
Telefax The reception will be happy to give it up for you. The fees will be
charged directly to your room bill.
Transport connections The public transport bus stops are located in the immediate vicinity of
the hotel. In winter, a free bus shuttle will take you to the ski areas
Taubensteinbahn, Stümpflingbahn and Kurvenlift. In addition you have
the possibility to take a public bus line all year round in the direction of
Neuhaus and Schliersee. For further information please contact the
reception. You can use the above mentioned bus connections free of
charge with your health resort card.
Train station / Buses The nearest train station is in Fischhausen/Neuhaus.
Train information and possible transfers (for a fee) can be obtained from the
reception. Between Spitzingsee and Schliersee there is a regular bus service;please ask at the reception for timetables. The bus is free of charge with the
Kurkarte (please show 1 card per person).
Travel tickets Our reception will be happy to help you with reservations,
confirmations and rebookings.

Towel service Upon request you will of course receive fresh towels daily.
TV / Radio The hotel rooms are equipped with a colour TV with integrated
radio and teletext. The radio is integrated in the TV set. The
program selection is done by remote control.
You can also program a wake-up call via your telephone. The
selection is made via the keypad.
TV room In our "Smokers Lounge" there is a television with teletext. Please
note that by law no service is allowed in this room. We thank you for
your understanding. However, you are welcome to obtain drinks from
our hotel bar.

Fishing A day fishing permit for Spitzingsee can be purchased at the kiosk at
the church. The prerequisite for this is a generally valid fishing licence
and identity card.

The golf course has an 18-hole championship course, a 9-hole par-3
course, a driving range, a pitching and chipping area and a putting

Golfclub Bad Wiessee
This golf course offers besides challenging fairways on very eventful
terrain already purely optically by the beautiful views of the Tegernsee
and the alpine panorama enough reasons to have played here once
Margarethenhof – Golfclub am Tegernsee
The largely natural course in an idyllic picture book setting is partly hilly and
demanding, but also suitable for beginners.
Attractively designed fairways, carefully maintained biotopes and water hazards
provide a variety of challenges. The reception will be happy to inform you about
opening hours and fees.
High Rope Garden A high ropes course is located in Geitau & Valley, group or individual
reservation via the reception.Hiking / Mountaineering From a leisurely walk, to scenic half-day or full-day tours, to
mountaineering and climbing - the surrounding mountain world offers
something for everyone. Hiking suggestions and hiking maps are
available at the reception. The spa administration Schliersee
undertakes guided hikes during the main season. Programs are also
available at the reception.
Holiday program During the season and over certain holidays we offer a varied
holiday program. Due to Corona there may be changes. The
program and possible registration lists are available at the
reception. We would like to draw your attention to the fact

Ice curling There is a prepared curling rink at the lake, which can be rented for

Movie theater Film theatres can be found in Hausham and Rottach-Egern.

Minigolf A minigolf course is located in Schliersee and in Fischbachau.
Horse Sleigh / The bus stop is directly below the Hotel am See. Trips can be

Schlierseer During the season (mostly on Tuesdays) in Schliersee the

the programme and to arrange it for you.
Summer toboggan run From the Schliersbergalm, Schliersee. Over a length of more than 950
m it winds its way down from the Schliersbergalm to the valley
station.Tennis During the winter months or in case of bad weather we will gladly
reserve indoor courts in Miesbach. On request we will gladly arrange
a trainer. Otherwise, 6 clay courts, 1 small court and 1 tennis wall are
available to you in Neuhaus in summer.
Theatre / concert / During the season there are a lot of

Wendelstein
The striking panoramic mountain is accessible from two sides -
from Brannenburg in the Inn valley by rack railway and from
Bayrischzell in the Leitzach valley by cable car.
Zoo Munich Hellabrunn
Situated as an idyllic natural island in the landscape
conservation area of the Isar floodplains, the oldest geo-
zoo in
the world invites you to take a tour on an area of 36
hectares.

Mountain Zoo Blindham (Aying)
On an area of 250,000 m² there are native wild animals and domestic animal
breeds threatened with extinction.

For a trip by car the following sights are worth seeing. Further information, directions and opening hours
are available at the reception. All destinations can be reached in about 60 minutes from Spitzingsee.
Automobile Museum Here, the now 100-year history of the automobile is being brought to
Amerang of an area of approx. 6000 square meters. More than 220 German
Automobile classics are on display.
Bavaria film location Located in Munich-Grünwald. Open from March to October. For a guided tour
with several people you should book in advance.
Deutsches Museum With approx. 55.000qm exhibition space the probably biggest
Munich technical - natural science museum of the world with
regular special exhibitions.
Trip to Kufstein A scenic route along the Thiersees. via Bayrischzell-
Landl. Our recommendation: A city stroll through
Kufstein.
Fraueninsel One of the islands in Lake Chiemsee. A crossing by boat is possible
from Prien or Gstaad.
Open Air Museum Old residential and farm houses with workshops, mills and
Glentleiten Alm buildings convey a lively picture of the rural
Past of Upper Bavaria.
Freilichtmuseum The old Bavarian museum village is located on the southern shore of the
„Marcus Wasmeier“ Schliersee near the train station Fischhausen-Neuhaus in the middle of
primeval meadows in front of the panorama of the Schliersee mountains and
the Wendelstein.
Olympic Centre Various sports activities possible: e.g. ice skating, swimming, Nordic –
Munich walking. In addition, the Olympiahalle offers many

Here you will be well informed about topics such as ski pass prices,
snow and weather reports, ski school facilities, panoramic maps and the
Spitzingsee webcam.
Cross country skiing The Spitzingsee has 2 cross-country ski runs with a length of 2 km
and 6.5 km to the Valepper Alm. Suggestions for cross-country
skiing trails are available at the reception.
Toboggan run Two toboggan runs are located in the Spitzing area. One leads from the
Spitzingsee upper Firstalm to the Spitzingsattel, the other from the lower Firstalm
to the Kurvenlift.
Toboggan run Wallberg Pure tobogganing fun on the longest winter natural toboggan run in
Germany (6.5 km downhill). The run is challenging and unsuitable for
small children.
