swept well over 550,000 acres for
invasive plant treatment between
1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020

~ $14 Million was spent on invasive
plant treatments
2020/2021 Proposed Treatments

 Melaleuca Brazilian pepper All species

              Lygodium Australian pine
Highlights: Broward County
Herbicide Mixes:

• 1% Trycera, .5% GroPerfect: Great on Lygodium, Grape Vine, Syngonium, Dalechampia, and most
broadleafs and vines (GroPerfect is type of fertilizer).

• 2% Finale, .5% MSO: Great foliar treatment for Guinea and invasive cane grasses. Used at lower rates
than Glyphosate and needs less retreatment.

• 40% Glyphosate, 10% Imazapyr: Cut stump mix. Great on all invasive trees and vines, Syngonium and
Smilax. Also very effective on Cissus; cut vine and dip the cut portion of upper part of the vine into mix.

• 5fl Glyphosate, 5fl MSO per gallon: Foliar mix for Pothos and Syngonium. Multiple treatments needed
so be careful to stay within label rates. Works best after initial treatment, let dry, and reapply second
  treatment same day.
