Every Pakistani believes that, Overseas Pakistanis are an asset for Pakistan, their contribution to the economy of Pakistan, their role in the development
of their host countries, their spirit of patriotism, their potential as a source of investment in Pakistan, and their role as Pakistani bridge to the outside
world, make them uniquely placed as a stakeholder in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Accordingly, the present government attaches highest importance to: Addressing their concerns, attracting them to invest in Pakistan, and using their
potential to promote positive image of Pakistan.
In order to coordinate, facilitate, and galvanize these efforts, we the team of overseas Pakistanis are considering to host an Overseas Pakistanis
Investment Convention in Pakistan.
This Convention will bring forth important aspects of the potential which Overseas Pakistanis as a whole.. It will show that the Government cares for the
Overseas Pakistanis and invites them to build their stakes further in the socio-economic development of their motherland Pakistan.
One Life Pakistan with the novel support of overseas Pakistanis is going to organize this convention, through engaging several public private parties
including departments of the Federal and Provincial governments, Overseas business groups, and Civil Society organizations engaged in the welfare of
Overseas Pakistanis, which all could be associated with this Convention.
Overseas Pakistanis have the character, capacity, competence & responsibility to be leaders in addressing the pivotal needs of this country, and they can
create job opportunities for Pakistani youth, and can be a better source of mobilizing other international investors as they are more close to international
business community.
Event Partner PUNJAB BOARD OF INVESTMENT & TRADE Incorporated under Section 42 under the Companies Act 2017, Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) assists companies which intend to invest in the manufacturing and services sectors of Punjab. The wide range of services provided by PBIT include providing information on the opportunities for investments, as well as facilitating companies which are looking for joint venture partners. PBIT acts as Punjab's marketing arm and actively promotes the province worldwide as one of the best investment hubs in Asia. PBIT as Special Economic Zone Authority Punjab also evaluates the applications/proposals from Developers to declare their Industrial Parks as Special Economic Zones. For granting one time import duty exemption on machinery, equipment, spare parts, consumables in Special Economic Zones, PBIT is responsible to issue a confirmation Letter on the status of the applicant prior to seeking the permission from the relevant department/agencies to claim for the exemption.
