At MW Tours we work hard to ensure each and every tour is researched,
planned, and executed in order to provide you with an optimal travel
experience. Our staff travel to every destination we sell, ensuring our team
are familiar with the local area and can personally customise packages
to suit your requirements. We will look after you from your first enquiry,
through to the duration of your tour, when you will be provided with 24hr
local and overseas contacts to assure you a worry-free holiday! As a

MW TOURS EXPERIENCE
SMALL GROUP SIZES, GUARANTEED DEPARTURES & SOLO TRAVELLERS
While our group sizes can vary (on average from 6 – 15 depending on
the destination), to ensure you can travel at the time that suits you best,
our Tours have guaranteed departures with a minimum of two travellers
(excluding our best selling Cherry Blossom & Garden, and Japan Golden
Route Tours). If you are travelling as a single passenger, we will try our
best to match you with another solo traveller at the same time in order for
your tour to go ahead. If we are unable to confirm the minimum numbers
required to operate certain tours, we will reconfirm the running of the tour
for you as soon as possible!
As a solo traveller, you still have the option for single room accommodation
once the minimum departure numbers are met. Single Supplements are the
extra costs when travelling solo but staying in twin share accommodation.
The cost is often nearly the same amount as two people travelling, however
we discount this to as little as possible to ensure value for money when
travelling on your own.

Our itineraries are designed to show you the best unique and authentic
experiences. While we include all the popular must see attractions and
experiences, we also include lesser known experiences such as the
Face Changing Cultural Show, or Sundowners in the Serengeti. If there is
something on your bucket list that isn’t included in one of our tours, let
us know! We can tailor tours to suit your needs and always add on a pre
or post stay to give you the best experience possible. You could also add
on a fantastic Pre or Post Excursion to experience more of a fantastic
destination, or even a completely different place!
DELICIOUS LOCAL CUISINE
One of the highlights of touring in a different country, is the variety of
traditional local cuisine that is on offer. Breakfast is often a combination
of Western and local food, usually served in a buffet style. Our tours also
include delicious local meals that allow you to taste a variety of the most
popular foods in the region. Your local guides will assist you in getting a
table at the most authentic and quaint eateries, so you don’t need to worry
about no availability at the best restaurants – often a concern on bigger
tours.

their in-depth and often local knowledge of your fantastic destinations.

numbers for all our guides, offering 24-hour assistance should you require
it while travelling. In some destinations we can even offer bilingual guides
to suit your requirements.

Our Tours use a variety of transportation methods, from modern air-
conditioned automobiles, full service airlines, and cruise lines that offer 5*
service. You may also travel by modern High Speed Rail or Bullet Train, as
well as popular Cable Cars or Ropeways.

TO TIP OR NOT TO TIP?
Something a lot of travellers to Asia (& Beyond!) worry about, is tipping
required? Coming from a country where tipping isn’t common, it can be
daunting trying to understand if it is necessary when visiting a different
country. We eliminate the confusion by including tipping for you in most of
our Tour Packages. In many of the regions we visit, tipping is an expected
and essential part of receiving any service. Our experienced tour guides
rely on tipping to supplement their income, however the amount can vary
depending on group size, tour duration, and the services provided. By
including tipping in your package, we ensure that our guides are receiving
the correct amount for their excellent service. If tipping isn’t included in
your package, your final documents will let you know the recommended
amount, however it is at your own discretion.
THE LITTLE EXTRAS
Before your Tour commences, you will receive your final travel documents.
These documents may include (if applicable) your air ticket, a detailed day
by day tour itinerary including your accommodation details, your 24 hour
emergency contact details, destination information booklets and maps (if
available), and your complimentary travel wallet and luggage tags. We’ll
make sure you have everything you need for the trip of a lifetime!

Escorted Travel
We’re known for our Escorted & Fully Inclusive Small Group Tours. Where,
everything is organised in our air & land packages including international
and domestic economy class airfares, any cruise or train tickets, quality
accommodation, delicious local meals, airconditioned transfers, professional
English speaking local guides, all entrance and monument fees, tipping for your
guides and drivers, and more! One of the biggest benefits of travelling on a
Small Group Tour, is the personal and attentive service you receive from our
guides. You will also be travelling with other guests that share similar interests

Modular Travel
If you would like a little more independence or would just prefer not to have
everything included, our modular tours have been put together for you:
They will use a series of day tours, accommodation & transportation.
Coaches will generally pick up and drop off guests from selected hotels,
or you may need to meet at a dedicated pick-up point or you may even be
dropped in a central area to make your own way home. They allow you to see
the best sights in our fantastic destinations, while giving you extra freedom to
explore on your own.
They are also more budget friendly, as you can choose your own methods
of transportation, make your own way to hotels, or decide where you would like
to eat.
You could even pick from our range of Excursions to make your own tour.
17TOUR OPTIONS Although they look like a tour, they actually operate on an independent basis, which means you could be with different people & guides each day, due to their size capabilities, which offer competitive pricing with maximum flexibility. It’s important to check all the inclusions and exclusions for each of these tours as they will vary a lot, depending on the location. Seat in Coach (SIC) Travel Many destinations often offer group tours that can be joined by travellers from all over the world. Known as SIC Tours, they allow English speaking travellers to join an escorted tour, with a National Guide who can best show you the highlights of a destination. MW Tours sell these tours on behalf of local suppliers and we only use the best SIC Tour providers to ensure our high standards are met. It’s important to note that these tours are mainly for first time travellers, so it’s best to keep in mind that they aim to show you as much as possible in a short period of time. Travel times each day may be as long as 12hrs to ensure you make the most of your experience. Tailor-made (FIT) Travel If our tours don’t have what you want, we can customise an itinerary that meets your needs! Whether you are a solo traveller, making arrangements for school groups or families, or have a club with special interests (Craft enthusiasts or Foodies, we’re looking at you!), our friendly Travel Consultants are here to help. Travelling with family and friends is a great way to travel. If a group of 6-9 guests travel together, a discount
of 5% off the land only portion, per person, applies to your booking! For groups of 10 or more, MW Tours can

TOUR GRADING
Generally suitable for anyone to join with shorter duration and a slower pace for your enjoyment.
Tour may include longer periods on foot and climbing stairs as well as longer driving period.
Involves longer than expected walking, trekking and many overnight train journeys which an
active level of fitness is required for. It may also involve itineraries with no more than one night
in each location.
Long periods of walking can be quite challenging, especially amongst the crowds in Asia. Traditional style
accommodation may include bedding on the floor, and large steps in bathrooms. We recommend
that all travellers assess their personal fitness levels with a doctor before booking.

Arrive in bustling Tokyo. Check in to your hotel for the next two
nights. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own Japan World Heritage upgrade from
leisure. Why not travel to Shibuya and see the famous crossing,

Day 02: Tokyo (B/-/-) • Stay an extra five days and explore sights off
Spend the morning on a city tour of Tokyo. Highlights will
include the popular Meiji Shrine, towering Tokyo Tower, and the main path in historic Japan

explore the Ginza shopping district. Return to the hotel on your

Day 03: Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Hakone (B/L/-)

Day 01: Arrive Seoul (-/-/D) ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Arrive in Seoul. Check in to your hotel for the night. Enjoy your
first traditional dinner at a local Korean restaurant. If you would like to add on a few extra

This morning you will take the metro to the train station and
ride a bullet train to Busan. On arrival enjoy a city tour with visits

After breakfast travel to Poonggi, stopping at the Ginseng
Plantation on the way. Then continue to Danyang and visit the
Rice Wine Brewery, before transferring to Seoul for the evening
where you will enjoy the theatre and farewell dinner.

Enjoy your last day in Seoul to explore at your own pace. Why
not try a Kimchi making workshop so you can learn to make it
at home, or dress up in Hanbok (traditional Korean costume)*?

Day 01: Arrive Seoul (-/-/-)
Arrive in Seoul. Check in to your hotel for the night. The rest of
the day is free at your leisure.
Day 02: Seoul - Gongju - Jeonju (B/-/-)
Travel to Gongju and explore the Tomb of King Muryeong
and Gongsanseong Fortress. Continue to Jeonju and wander
through the traditional Hanok Village.
Day 03: Jeonju - Gwangju - Yeosu - Jinju (B/-/-)
After breakfast you will continue to Gwangju, home of modern
democracy in Korea. Then continue to Jinju for the night,
stopping at Suncheon and the port city of Yeosu along the way.
Day 04: Jinju - Busan - Jeju (B/-/-)
Explore Jinjuseong Fortress, famous for its link to the Japanese
invasion. Early afternoon flight to Jeju. You will be met on arrival
and escorted to your hotel to check in.
Day 05: Jeju (B/-/-)
Enjoy a day of sightseeing in beautiful Jeju. You will visit all the

Wander through the UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District
of Seoraksan National Park, home to rare flora and fauna. Take
the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress*. Afterwards travel to
Seoul and make your own way to the hotel.

This morning you will take a tour of Seoul, including
Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum, and more.
Visit the famous Korean Folk Village.
Day 11: Seoul - DMZ - Seoul (B/L/-)
