                  Ideally use unsweetened coconut milk.

                                     Facts:
Peaches originate from China, where they are considered an uplifting and
rejuvenating fruit. Like other stone fruits, peaches and nectarines contain a
balance of phenolic compounds - anthocyanins, chlorogenic acids quercetin
derivatives and catechins - that work synergistically to combat metabolic syndrome
(a group of risk factors that can lead to diabetes and heart disease).

Their phenolic compounds are known to have anti-obesity, anti-
inflammatory and anti-diabetic properties. They are both great sources
of Vitamin C an essential component in the body's production of collagen.
They are also a good source of the antioxidant lutein, which helps fight
free radical damage and supports healthy skin and eyes.
Rich in potassium, phosphorus and magnesium, they
are an antidote to a high sodium diet and can
help to remove excess water from
                                    the body.

                         1 tbsp Cacao Nibs

Okay, so it's not strictly a mocktail, but I just really wanted
to include this recipe in the Juicy July Challenge!
Because it's just good... especially if you like a coffee in the
morning... this will give you a mega-nutrient boost too!
If you don't like coffee you can leave it out... it still tastes great!

                                          Tips:

                                          Facts:
While dark chocolate with 70% or higher cocoa solids is a superfood, the cacao nib blows
it out of the water! Cacao nibs are where all chocolate starts, but it depends on what
is done to it after it is collected from the beans (yes, cocoa is a bean) from the Theobroma
cacao tree. Cacao nibs are actually the bean after it has been roasted, taken out of its husk
                                   and broken into little pieces.
Cacao nibs prompt the brain to release serotonin, a feel-good hormone. They also contain
anandamide, an amino acid often referred to as the “bliss molecule” and the compound
phenylethylamine. Phenethylamine triggers the release of endorphins and other happy
chemicals in the brain. Cacao nibs contain flavonoids, which are anti-inflammatory
antioxidants that protect the heart and the arteries in your heart and brain.
Cacao also contains over 700 compounds and the complex antioxidant
polyphenol, which together lowers LDL or “bad” cholesterol
and raises HDL or “good” cholesterol.
In fact, cacao is actually better at protecting your
heart than any heart drug on the market.
                                Shocking, huh? Not really, Mother
                                      Nature knows her stuff!
Mango Punch!
                       1 Orange
2 Cups Mango (fresh or frozen)
1 Cup of Strawberries or Mixed Berries (fresh or frozen)
                  1 Lime (juice only)
                2cm Fresh Ginger Root
                200ml Sparkling Water

This is a mighty smoothie that will win the hearts of
everyone - refreshing, light and perfectly summer
                       Chin Chin!!

                   Meal Replacement:
Delicious for breakfast or lunch and a super refreshing
healthy pick me up for anytime of the day!
A real treat for mango lovers and definitely a
                 summer party favorite!
Mango Punch
                             What to do:
Put all of the ingredients, except the sparkling
water, into your blender - Blend for about 20-30
seconds until smooth and pour into a glass or pitcher and
                     top up with sparkling water.

                               Tips:
You cold swap the mango for pineapple, papaya or peaches/nectarines

                                   Facts:
Mangoes are high in antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin C and are great for
boosting your immune system, protecting eyesight and aids digestion. They also
neutralise free radical damage in the body. Mangoes contain enzymes that aid
the breakdown and digestion of protein, and also fibre which keeps the
                         digestive tract working efficiently.
July is a wonderful month for all sorts of fresh berries: bursting with
flavour, colour and a plethora of vitamins and antioxidants. Strawberries
in particular contain manganese, folate potassium, B vitamins
                             and beneficial flavonoids.
The Vitamin C content of oranges is well known, but
they are also great for boosting digestion
and they have alkalising and detoxifying
                                      properties.
