               • Tonight, we roll out the beginning of our 2021 Programming for
                 the Greater Los Angeles Area Council effective today through
                 April 1, 2021 at no cost to all BSA registered members.
               • Made possible in part by your annual program fee.

Greater Los Angeles Area Council is Running Program!

•    Den/Patrol Meeting and Activity 3-hour time blocks can be reserved at Cabrillo,
     Cushman Watt, Firestone and Trask as early as January 16, 2021.
    To reserve your 3-hour time block visit: https://www.glaacbsa.org/FacilityDayUse

•   EXTENDED: From January 16 through March 31, 2021 there is no day use per
    person charge to use our facilities. There is a fee for structured program usage
    requests (example: BB-Guns, merit badge days, etc.).
•   These structured program requests will be handled by the professional staff at
    each facility. Please contact the Camp Ranger or Facilities Manager for further
    information on program options available for your visit.

Review of Safety Protocols

•We follow all County of Los Angeles Public Health Covid-19 protocols designed for
our day camps including:
    • Temperature checks upon arrival along with BSA Health Forms A&B
    • Covid-19 At-Risk Statement, Medical Screening, Commitment to Transport
       forms
    • Directional flow, Face Masks, Physical Distancing and Sanitizing station
    • A maximum of 12 youths per cohort with at least 2 adults but no more than 16
       individuals (or any 16-person combination of youths and adults not to exceed
       12 youths).

Council Activities
Scouting For Food
•   Families in each district whose Scout needs to provide cheerful service would host a food drive at their
    collection point for contactless food & hygiene product drop offs
•   The Scouts will be responsible for sorting, eliminating expired food, and delivering to the charity of choice
•   Next Scouting For Food Drive – Saturday, April 3, 2021
•   If you would like to volunteer your collection point and your time, please contact Cissie Andrews at
    cissie.andrews@hotmail.com

Pinewood Derby Ready to Race Weekends
•   Meant to help Scouts with car cutting, painting, and tuning – something traditionally done as a Pack or
    Den activity.
•   Pack/Den Derby opportunities will be offered at Cabrillo Youth Center, Cushman Watt Scout Center, and
    Camp Trask in spring 2021. Car kit is included in registration fee or you can purchase from the Scout Shop
    if you want to work from home.
•   District roll-offs are planned for the end of March
•   Council roll-off is planned for April
