19KA SAIL MASTS
KA SAIL RDM 100% MAST
The highest performance reduced diameter mast in the KA mast range, the RDM
100% has been designed to get the absolute best out of your sails with that
extra peace of mind offered by an RDM mast. Utilising the same bend curves as our SDM
masts, the RDM 100% can be used across the KA Sail Range, excluding the KA.RACE. Highly
recommended for wave sailors who want the absolute best in radical conditions, they are
also perfect for speed sailing on the smaller KONCEPTS with RDM cams fitted.
As part of our intense Ka.RT (Ka Rig Technology) program, we have developed a unique lay-
up for all of our masts. This enables us to optimise weight without sacrificing the durability,
resulting in a super responsive rig that flexes consistently and reacts instantly. The mast
bend curves are matched perfectly to our luff curves ensuring the sails behave exactly as
the designers intended them to, and also twist and draft placement have been optimised.

An extremely high performance mast, the RDM 75% has the highest durability of any mast
in the KA range. Designed to get the most out of your sails, it is perfectly matched to our
complete range excluding the KA.RACE, and is very suited to KAOS, KRYPTONITE, KILLER,
KULT and the smaller KOYOTES. Sailors, who like to give their gear a thorough work-out, will

21KA SAIL BOOMS
KA Sail Windsurfing offers a full range of both alloy and carbon booms featuring a mono-
coque body, custom alloy or carbon materials, fully articulating head, clear length
markings, easy to use adjustment collars, positive snap-in skinny adapter, etc.
We have incorporated it all in our top end alloy and carbon booms, fitting both

22CARBON BOOM DETAILS
We have received many positive reactions about the considerable improvements to our
Carbon boom shapes, notably in the back-end section of these booms, which we implemen-
ted already in 2017. For 2018, we will continue the use of a wider end piece to ensure that
the boom allows the sail to breathe and fill out perfectly on the water, just as the designers
