Licensed Preschool is run at Killarney and Champlain Heights Community Centers.
We offer a play-based program that provides a variety of developmentally
appropriate activities in a safe, positive and nurturing environment. Activities
include free play, arts and crafts, music, story time, baking, science, math, snack
time, gym, outdoor play, and field trips throughout the year. There are 20 children
in each class and 2 licensed preschool teachers. An orientation for parents to
meet the teachers and learn about the preschool is held at the beginning of each
school year.
