             ENROLLING STUDENTS MUST BE 6-YEARS-OLD BY CLASS START DATE.

           On Monday, please bring your students to the Hickory Ridge Building, where classroom information will be
           posted. Most classes are located in the Hickory Ridge Building. Students should be brought to the Hickory
           Ridge Building no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of class. To view a campus map, see page 7.

Acrylic Painting for Elementary Artists
Ages 8-10. Explore techniques in acrylic painting as you learn about color relationships, creating
texture, and adding shadows and highlights. Subjects for paintings will come from your close ob-
servation and from your own imagination. You will be working with canvas and creating finished

    Meet Our Instructor                             Hope Corrigan
  Hope Corrigan, a teacher at Kids on Campus since 2010, has been
  sewing since she was 11 years old. Her crochet, sewing, and cross
  stitch projects have won numerous ribbons at the Howard County
  Fair. Ms. Corrigan uses her talent and experience to regularly lend
  a helping hand by sewing, altering, and repairing dance costumes
  for the Ballet Mobile, which brings inspirational ballet programs to
  individuals at assisted living centers, hospitals, schools, and libraries.
  In addition to her passion for sewing, she is a marketing professor
  for the Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and
  Management. She holds an MBA from Loyola University Maryland,
  a master’s in textile chemistry from North Carolina State University,
  and a bachelor’s in chemistry from Hood College.
  Ms. Corrigan will also teach Crochet and Yarn Crafts (pg. 34),
  Maryland Craft Class (pg. 49), and Stock Market Game (pg. 58).
