A bit about us ….
Laburnum Caravan Park is situated on the scenic North Norfolk coast
between Sheringham and Cromer, at the village of West Runton. The park
itself is situated on the cliff top just off Water Lane, which leads down to the
beach.
The caravan park is well positioned for those who enjoy a walk as there is
easy access to the coastal path and the cliff top walk to both Sheringham
and Cromer. There are also a number of other local circuit walks which
are also easily accessible from the caravan park.
Laburnum Caravan Park itself is a family run site and this is reflected in the
friendly atmosphere of the park.
We have 6 caravans for hire, which all sleep up to a maximum of 6
people. These caravans are 2018 models or newer and contain 1 x
double bedroom, 1 x twin room, bathroom (with shower and WC), kitchen
(including cooker, microwave and fridge) and a lounge (with a double
sofa-bed). All of our caravans are double glazed and centrally heated.
Although pets are welcome on the park we regret that we do not allow
them in our hire caravans. Our caravans are also non-smoking.
We also cater for touring caravans and motorhomes and on site we have
a small number of pitches all with hard standings and electric hook-ups.
There are private designated shower and toilet facilities along with a sink
with hot running water for washing-up in our Laundry Room. The Laundry
Room also contains an automatic washer and a drier, along with hand
washing and ironing facilities.
We also have a small shop on site which sells a selection of groceries,
milk, sweets, toys and ice-creams. We can also order your morning
papers for you.
We offer facilities for children ~ a playground with swings, slide, etc, a
large recreation field and hard tennis court. There is seating provided for
parents and a picnic bench.
These facilities are on site but do not encroach on the caravans, so if
you’re here for peace and quiet you can just sit back and relax….without
having to dodge footballs and frisbees!
Possibly one of the best things we have to offer, however, are the fantastic
panoramic views of the sea and the magnificent sunrises and sunsets.
West Runton village also has a lot to offer, it has a number of shops
including a post office and general stores. It also boasts a wealth of
places to eat; from Clementine’s Bistro Café, to the 'Hole in One' Sports
Bar, to the intimate surrounds of The Pepperpot Restaurant or the grandeur
of The Links Hotel. You could choose to have Sunday lunch at the newly
renovated Dormy House Hotel or eat local seafood 'al fresco' at Rocky
Bottoms.
Alternatively, you might like to enjoy a quiet drink and a bite to eat in the
gardens of the Village Inn, possibly indulge in a ’bacon butty’ or a crispy
toastie at the Sea View Beach Café or you could treat yourself to a cream
tea at the Corner House Tea Room - the choice is yours!

Booking Terms & Conditions
                                               for
                                      Caravan Hire

1. No booking will be accepted unless accompanied by a deposit of £100.00 per
   week, per caravan.
   THE BALANCE OF THE HIRE CHARGE MUST BE PAID ON DAY OF ARRIVAL.

2. Bookings will not be accepted from single sex parties.

3. In the event of the cancellation of a booking the deposit is forfeit. Where a
   holiday is cancelled within 1 week of its commencement the Hirer will be liable
   for the total cost of the holiday booked.

4. ALL BOOKINGS ARE FROM 2PM ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL UNTIL 10AM ON THE
   DAY OF DEPARTURE.

5. Caravans must be kept in a clean and tidy condition and the Hirer is
   responsible for making good any breakages or other damage caused during
   their stay. Laburnum Caravan Park accepts no responsibility for loss or damage
   to property belonging to the Hirer or others using the caravan and cannot
   accept liability for any loss or injury caused to the Hirer or other users of the
   caravan occasioned by the negligence of the Hirer or other users of the park.

6. The Hirer undertakes to observe the Park Rules, (as printed in our brochure and
   in the information file in your hired caravan), for the duration of their stay.

7. The Hirer is responsible for providing towels and bedlinen for use in the caravan.
   (Pillows, 1 x king-size duvet, 2 x single duvets and a selection of blankets are
   provided as standard, additional bedding is available on request).

8. All prices quoted by Laburnum Caravan Park are inclusive of VAT where
   applicable and at the rate in force at the time of publication. The right is
   reserved to vary the inclusive cost should the tax rate alter.

9. Our caravans accommodate a maximum of six persons only.

10. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained within these terms
    and conditions.

         PLEASE NOTE : WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OUR CARAVANS
                & OUR CARAVANS ARE ALL NON-SMOKING.
PLEASE NOTE : Due to changes in legislation we regret to advise that from January 2018 we will no
 longer be accepting payments by credit card. Deposits can still be paid over the telephone by
   debit card and we continue to accept cheques. The same will apply for balance payments.
PARK RULES
                               for Hire Customers

• You must not engage in any activity which endangers the safety of any
  other persons using Laburnum Caravan Park.
• No tents are permitted on the Caravan Park.
• Car Parking is on the door side of your caravan, with a maximum of one
  car per caravan. Any additional cars should be parked in the car park at
  the Park entrance.
• Commercial vehicles, vans and high sided vehicles are not permitted to
  park between the caravans, all such vehicles must be parked in the car
  park.
• All occupiers of caravans are, in their own interest, required to enter their
  names in the Visitors Book in the office/shop. (This information is vital for
  tracing relatives in the event of a sudden emergency at home).
• NO BALL GAMES, KITE FLYING or FRIZBEES are permitted between the
  caravans.
• No hard ball games are to be played on the recreation field.
• Motor vehicles are restricted to 5 mph whilst on the Park.
• Consideration should be given to your neighbours by keeping noise to a
  minimum.
• The maximum occupancy of our caravans is six persons, this cannot be
  exceeded.
• No pets are permitted in our hire caravans.
• Pets must not be left in vehicles overnight.
• Do not lean anything against the caravans, (this can cause panel damage
  the repair of which you will be liable for).
• Windbreaks must be removed at night or when your caravan is unoccupied.

To make a Booking
First telephone or email to confirm availability, we will then make a provisional
booking on your behalf pending receipt of your deposit.

Once you’ve paid your deposit we will confirm your booking in writing. This
confirmation will include the final cost of your holiday and also provide you
with details about things like how to find us, out of hours contact numbers in
case you get held up, cancellations and our complaints procedure.

Laburnum Caravan Park - Complaints Policy
At Laburnum Caravan Park we take all complaints seriously and regard them as an
opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for
the person that has made the complaint.

What to do if you have a complaint
If you have a complaint you must raise it with us as soon as possible as we, Laburnum
Caravan Park, need to be given the opportunity to address and resolve the problem as
soon as we are able.

complaint should, in the first instance, be made in person where at all possible.

In the event of a Complaint our policy is:
• To provide a fair complaints procedure which is clear and easy to use for
     anyone wishing to make a complaint
• To publicise the existence of our complaints procedure so that people know how to

• To make sure everyone at Laburnum Caravan Park knows what to do if a complaint is
     received
• To make sure all complaints are investigated fairly and in a timely way
• To make sure that complaints are, wherever possible, resolved and that relationships
     are repaired
• To gather information which helps us to improve what we do

Definition of a Complaint
A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction, whether justified or not, about any aspect
of Laburnum Caravan Park.

Confidentiality
All complaint information will be handled sensitively, telling only those who need to know
