The Sioux Center civic app, now available on the App Store and Google Play under “Sioux
Center,” features a Business Directory, as well as a Community Calendar, access to City and
Utility information, All Seasons Center and Recreation information, Trails maps, a Report
an Issue button and more.
The City of Sioux Center is providing this app to serve residents and visitors and help them
access all Sioux Center has to offer!
For the app’s Business Directory, you can claim your business and add
the details and deals that will bring your customers to you. Claiming
your business is only accessible through the web, not through the app
itself. There’s no additional cost for this. If your business isn’t listed
yet, email maggiel@siouxcenter.org.

Foster/Adoptive Summit:
Seasons Center is offering a free camping weekend for foster & adoptive families, August 27-29, at Camp Autumn
in Sutherland. Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of camping, swimming, kayaking, games and more! On Saturday,
August 28th there will be a training opportunity, Behavior Is Communication, for foster & adoptive parents and
workers. The training will take place from 9 am – 12 pm with respite care available for training attendees.
Foster/adoptive workers include anyone who works with children who are in foster care or have been adopted
(i.e. educators, mental health providers, etc.). Stay tuned to the Seasons Center Facebook page for more details and

ART SHOW SIOUX STITCHERS
