                         BEHIND LEGACY BENEFITING ENTIRE REGION
In March, Texas and the nation lost one of the most significant legislators in
North Texas history and a long-time friend to the District: U.S. Representative
Ralph Hall. Known across the aisles as an impeccable gentleman committed to
putting his constituents first, Congressman Hall dedicated his life to ensure a
high quality of life for millions of North Texans. This included making sure there
would always be safe, reliable water for our region.

                         ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
                         ENDS APRIL 1
                         Our annual temporary change in
disinfectant period ends April 1. This
                         routine, month-long process is
                         critical to delivering safe drinking
water for more than 1.7 million North
                         Texans. By completing this
                         maintenance each spring before the
temperatures rise, we are best able
to maintain the system and ensure
                         high water quality year-round.

It may take a few days for the full conversion across the entire system back to
                         chloramines for disinfection.

                         STOP SPREAD OF ZEBRA
                         MUSSELS IN LAKES
                         Great news! A recent statewide
study done by Texas Parks and
                         Wildlife Department (TPWD) found
no new lakes infested with invasive
                         zebra mussels. TPWD and partners
monitor more than 60 lakes for early
                         detection or population monitoring of
                         zebra mussels.

Continue to do your part to protect Texas lakes - help spread the word on how
Texas boaters should always clean, drain and dry their boats.
