CEO Update
The last few months have been challenging for us all, and although it is
wonderful to see restrictions beginning to be lifted, we are mindful that it
will be a long time before life gets back to the way things used to be.

on the Fraser Coast. Our secure financial structure means we have not
only been able to continue building but enhance our development plans,
creating the next level of resort-like facilities to support our communities
over the coming years.
The one thing this period has shown us is that at the end of the day people
choose to live in our villages not just for the facilities and affordable homes,
but for the people who live here and the wonderful community spirit that is

MANAGER’S Update
Life at Vibe Baldivis has been quite eventful during this period of isolation for the
Serenitas Management Team. Not only have we been busy looking out for our
homeowners, we have contributed to village celebrations for Easter and Mother’s
Day and taking some time to remember the fallen for Anzac Day.
The feedback received for our Easter Egg delivery was outstanding, but to be
honest, we had loads of fun wearing our bunny ears and zooming around in our
buggy delivering delicious chocolate Easter eggs.

supermarket chain through volunteer groups, Red Cross
and Secondbite, are kindly donating loaves of fresh bread to
homeowners. The team then deliver the fresh bread every

DRIVE-BY BIRTHDAY JOY
The team at Vibe Baldivis have begun doing a Birthday
drive-by for our homeowners celebrating a birthday during
isolation. Surprising them with balloons, a yummy cake,
lovely birthday card and singing “Happy Birthday” from
across the road. A Happy Birthday sign is also left in their
garden for the day.
What a great way to spread a little birthday joy to those at
home alone.

MOTHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS
Self-isolation has been keeping many of us apart from our
loved ones.
So, this Mother’s Day the Serenitas Village Management
Team wanted to do something a little special for our
homeownerss. Trees in the village were decorated and
Mother’s Day cards were distributed to all. Plus, a special
mum won a gourmet gift hamper from our raffle draw.
Recipe
SLOW-COOKED
CHICKEN, FENNEL
AND RICE SOUP
Ingredients
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to drizzle to medium-high and add crushed garlic, onion and
1kg chicken marylands fennel. Cook for 15 minutes or until starting to
caramelise.
