experience a different culture or try a new
cuisine? Did your plans and dreams come to
a halt due to COVID-19, unending
paperwork, mounting costs of travelling
and the anxiety of living abroad?
Well, hold on. We have designed a
programme for you that will help get the
world to your doorstep with the click of a
button!ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: This E-Study India Programme will provide participants an insight into one of the world’s fastest emerging economies- India. The participants will be immersed in a virtual whirlwind getting a sneak peek into India’s socio-economic-cultural landscape and engage in some fun through workshops on language and cultural integration with Indian E- buddies. WHO WE ARE? Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES) is a multidisciplinary support department that works with Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE), Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU). SCES was launched in January 2019 by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, HE Mr. Andrej Babiš. SCES liaises with Symbiosis institutes which have been offering academic programmes for the past 50 years. SCES lays emphasis on facilitating people-to-people and institute-to-institute connections with Europe, bringing the best of scholarly expertise to India, and encouraging Symbiosis students, faculty and staff mobility to Europe for research projects and learning through partnerships. SCES is an umbrella support system for all academic/scholarly/generic activities with European nations/institutes. University of Cologne, Germany & Symbiosis International University, India have nurtured this collaboration since 2014 offering bespoke programmes curated for the German students and lateron becoming partners for student exchanges. Due to the pandemic, Symbiosis , in collaboration with University of Cologne, is now offering a virtual Study India Programme with interesting and engaging sessions and workshops especially being organized for this batch.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE:
This is a bespoke programme designed for German participants to take
them through a virtual experience into India’s culture, business & society.
The participants will be able to:
Explore the potential of collaboration, research & entrepreneur-
ship in one of the world’s fastest growing emerging economy.
Delve into the rural-urban divide and understand innovations at
the bottom of the pyramid.
Bridge the gap in communication through lessons in Hindi
language.
Integrate through co-working with Indian E- buddies for fun
sessions exploring culture, food and Bollywood dance.
Reflect on comparatives between Germany & India’s culture,
business & society.
Gain multicultural skills and celebrate diversity.
