The Freedom To Be Vulnerable:
When children feel the most vulnerable, it's almost always because one of
their three driving inner needs is on trial. Sometimes it's all three at once.
That's why it is critical for grace-based parents to make these three inner
needs their daily goal. These needs will always be in the present tense with
your children. When they sense, for whatever reason they aren't feeling se-
cure, significant, or strong enough for the moment; a foreboding sense of
vulnerability often overwhelms them. This can happen when they are infants
in their cribs, or high-school seniors ready for graduation. Whether your
strapping son stands head and shoulders above his peers, or your
gorgeous daughter sets the standard for elegance among her friends. All
children find themselves looking down the barrel of insecurity,
insignificance, or inadequacy. This is exactly when the forces of darkness
like to move in for the kill. Hence, you cannot afford to trivialize these times
when your children feel fragile. - Grace Based Parenting, pg 173

PARENT(S)’S RESPONSIBILITY: Parent(s), you are responsible for your
child(ren) at all times. A child or children under 14 years MUST BE accom-
panied by an adult to the restroom, at snack time, and during lunch break.
Your child(ren) MUST BE in your company at all times.

March 16, 2019 - T-WEST LUNCH DATE:
It's back. You said you were blessed by the fellowship in 2017. So let's do it
again - “Church-wide Sabbath Lunch.” The idea is to have a communal
Sabbath lunch with a T-West group near you. On Sabbath, March 16, no
one should eat alone. We ask that you sign up as a Host or as a Guest. If
you are on the Guest List we will match you with a host. Or you can find
your own match. We need another 10 Host families to join the ones we
have. These families will host a maximum of 40 members for lunch that
Sabbath. Host families can invite their own guests and will also accommo-
date guests from the sign-up list. Let's make this a memorable Sabbath
afternoon together, as we Grow in Jesus and Love like Jesus. Please con-
tact Elder Susan Onyeobia today. (Please note there is no program at the
church that afternoon).

MEN’S CORNER
Psalms 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sin-
ners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight
is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates
day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the riv-
ers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
The imagery is powerful. The man who rejects worldliness and follows the
ways of the Lord will receive tremendous blessings. Like a flourishing tree,
he will be fruitful, steadfast, alive, and thriving. He will not wither when the
heat of trying times comes.
