MARINE LIFE CRUISE
Step aboard Aristocat 2 in search of Dugongs,
Dolphins and other endangered marine life.
You may see dolphins playfully racing with the boat or acrobatically demonstrating
their talent as we cruise to the Dugong Interaction Management Area to spot the ever shy Dugongs
grazing on seagrass. Perhaps you’ll be fortunate enough for one to pop up for a breath of fresh air
and a photo opportunity. You may even encounter migrating whales, manta rays, loggerhead turtles,
tiger sharks, sea snakes and other marine life as we cruise around nature’s aquarium.
Dugongs are more active in the months of August – May, so when the weather is cool and some of
the Dugongs move to warmer pastures, we search for the sponging dolphin. In nature’s aquarium,
you never know what sight or sounds the day will bring! That unpredictability and opportunity for
surprises is a big part of what makes these adventures so memorable.
If you need to get those natural endorphins flowing even more, you can jump into the boom net for
a great adrenalin rush – and an invigorating ocean salt spa. Or you can just kick back with a drink
from the fully licensed Ocean Lounge Bar and enjoy the ride as you lose yourself in nature’s music.
