With this pamphlet, we want to gather all the relevant information
about the current school year. This document wants to be a valid and
clear communication School-Family instrument.
We would like to remind that, first and foremost, Rosanna, Paola and
the other teachers, are available for any doubts or perplexities. Dialog
is the base of everything.

“My land, our land”
Continuing on the path followed over the last three years,
which has got a background for every experience in citizenship
education, this year we will speak about the land where we live:
"taking care of the earth means taking care of ourself and
others!"
We’re lucky to live on this beautiful planet. But it needs our
love and care. So through the seasons we are going to follow
the lane (real and symbolic) of our territory in order to know
the characteristics, the needs and also trying to find together
with the institutions / associations in here the instruments to
make it more and more liveable.
We will speak about respect with others and the environment,
as we are also reminded in our CONSTITUTION (especially in
the first 12 points).. Think Big But start Small!
Our project is implementing change with the support of the
family, institutions and groups, we will be able to do great
things !! If everyone took one little step it would make a big
difference.

Welcome to the new parents and welcome back to those who were
already attending our School!
We are at the beginning of a new school year, a new path to do together
and since “a good start is half the work”, we provide some information
and suggestions to keep in mind:
1. We inform/remember you that the time of entry at school in the
morning is from 8.00am to 8.45am for Kindergarten and from
7.30am to 8.45am for the Nursery School. Please respect both entry
and exit timetable. In case of (exceptional) late in the morning or in
the afternoon, after 8.45am or 4.00pm, please inform the School by
telephone. Otherwise, tax of € 10.00 will be applied. Keep in mind the
possibility to ask for postponement after 4.00pm with the charge of €
5.00 a day.
2. For the current school year, the coordinator and the school referent
is Rosanna Stimamiglio, she will be available for any meetings by
appointment from 8.00am to 8.30am. The nursery school reference is
Paola Merlin.
3. The payment of the tuition fees must be made by bank transfer by
10th of the current month with a deposit on the current bank account.
We ask you to respect this date. Here there are the details where you
can make the payment:

In the motive, please enter the first and the last name of the child and
the reference month. In case the settled amount deviates from the
predicted fee for some reasons, we ask you to give us (in sealed
envelopes or by e-mail) a copy of the bank transfer with the
specific/reason of the settled amount (this is to facilitate our

problems together; any changes on the sum, for example, due to
prolonged illness absences, will be reported by the administrative
office on the basis of the regulations.
4. The request for the advance (Kindergarten) and/or postponement
(both Nursery and Kindergarten) must be made with a specific form.
The payment of the same form must be made together with the
monthly fee.
5. Our administrative office is open on Monday 7.45 -11.45;
Wednesday 12 -16 and Friday 8 - 12.
6. Safety is a right of children, therefore to follow responsible
behavior. Between these:
It is NOT allowed to have children sit on top of the lockers;
It is NOT allowed to play in the garden after the exit;
children must NOT climb on the pedestrian gate to open it at
the entrance or exit even in respect of the structure.
the school declines all responsibility for any accidents that may occur
after the children are returned.
7. All garments and/or items need to be marked with the child’s Name
and Surname (including socks and shoes), in order to prevent their loss,
and to facilitate the teachers’ task at the moment of changing or going
in the garden. On the gray cabinet at the entrance, there is a basket
where the not-marked-items are put and so become “forgotten items’.
8. As provided for the internal and health Regulations, for diseases
longer than 7 days, the medical certificate is required for the
readmission to School. In case of absence, please notify the School.
9. If the School warns parents that the child is ill (e.g. vomiting,
diarrhea, fever, …), we ask that, in respect of all other children, youSCUOLA DELL’INFANZIA E NIDO INTEGRATO

keep the child at home at least for the following day;
10. As per health guidelines, the school cannot accept homemade
desserts, but only packaged sweets. For kindergarten, the
BIRTHDAYS are celebrated once a month, grouping all the birthdays
of the month with dessert prepared by our cook. For the nursery, each
child celebrates his or her BIRTHDAY individually, preparing the
cake or biscuits with the companions of the nest, the educators and the
cook the day before.
11. In case of any complaints or suggestions, you can insert in the box
on gray cabinet the specific form that is next to the box.
12. For a more effective flow of information between families and
School, is active a Broadcast group for the sole purpose of the flow of
school-family information. The telephone number of the
representative of parents will be indicate to each parent and it must be
memorized on your phone. This representative has create the
Broadcast group to send each parent information about various
initiatives and more. This instrument also allows parents, who not

13. We invite you to read and preserve the rules for both the day care
and the nursery. In case of communications, you will receive regular
notices in the cabinet pocket hanging in the entrance or sending by e-
mail; we therefore ask you to read them and pay attention to a good
mutual cooperation.
14. On our page “facebook – nidomaternalumignano” you can see
pictures of the activities carried out during the day.
15. On the web site www.nidomaternalumignano.it you can find all the
documents and information on our School.

Object: Menu 2019/2020
The kitchen of our school is equipped with the most modern gear for
meals preparation, handled by an expert cook to meet different needs.
Kindergarten lunches are highly valuable in terms of both nutrition and
education. They offer the chance to adopt correct eating habits through
varied menu choices and help to develop sense of taste, in line with
calorie-regulated meals to balance nutritional needs.
Hygienic health is the basis of meal preparation, in keeping with all
the rules. Meals are prepared according to the HACCP risk analysis
and control system, also referred to as the "Hazard Analysis Critical
Control Point".
This system pays attention especially on the quality of foodstuffs,
suppliers, controls and staff trainings. Simple cooking methods are
preferred to minimize chemical-physical changes that may affect the
nutritional value of foods, with the abundance of plant-based foods.
There are also products with protected designation of origin (D.O.P.)
and products from organic farming. We accept demands of particular
diets (allergic and / or intolerant children) by presenting a medical
certificate.
The menu is prepared according to the directions and under the
supervision of an ULLS nutritionist.
There are 2 seasonal menus divided into 4 weeks in rotation. The meal
includes both common and integral bread.
For the kindergarten, BIRTHDAYS are celebrated once a
month, we gather all the birthdays of the month.
Occasionally, there could be slight variations of the menu
depending on the availability on the fresh products or available
