History • Neighborhood Safety Night
• No event in 2020 due to COVID
• The event was changed from National Night Out to
Neighborhood Safety Night to better serve the
community and give the police department the ability
to tailor the event more specifically for Pueblo• This event is a service to the community to
help with community outreach, build
positive relationships, and provide education
on how to keep our citizens, their family and
their identity safe
• Interacting on a personal level
Purpose • Builds trust
• Creates positive relationships
• Shows support from the police
• Spotlights several local organizations that
offer resources to the community• Food Trucks
• Four main course trucks
• Two ice cream/snow cone trucks
• Coffee truck
• First Responder Vehicles
• Police Traffic unit, SWAT, Bomb, and Drone
• Pueblo Fire

• About 30 different informational booths• Raffle Prizes
• Ring doorbells, scooters, sporting equipment,
locking mailboxes, smoke and CO2 detectors,
etc.
• Scavenger Hunt for bicycles
• Child had to complete a scavenger hunt and
return it back to the front table
• Handed out 140
• 93 were returned

• Our bike volunteer was there to fit winners

• Name slips were at front table to fill out and
leave in the bucket
• 114 slips turned in
• Gave away 15 backpacks with school supplies• Attendance

• 4:00-5:00 = 222

• 7:00-7:30 = 45
