Day 1. Tue 12 Oct: Brisbane - Cairns Lunch & Dinner
After our morning flight from Brisbane we are met by our coach captain on arrival at Cairns airport. We make our way
to Limberlost Garden Centre for our lunch stop before we see the Barron Gorge Hydroelectric Power Station and
the Surprise Creek Falls. We then make our way back to Cairns for a short city highlights tour including St Monica’s
Cathedral. After this time touring, it’s then time to check in to our hotel before enjoying dinner in the restaurant.
Overnight Cairns: Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort
Day 2. Wed 13 Oct: Kuranda Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast this morning we make our way to Freshwater Station and board the Kuranda Scenic Rail, a spectacular
journey comprising unsurpassed views of dense rainforest, steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls. Rising from sea
level to 328m, the journey to Kuranda passes through World Heritage protected tropical rainforest, waterfalls and into
the awesome Barron Gorge. We arrive at Kuranda Village and explore the Heritage Markets, Art and Craft Galleries,
and shops and cafés to purchase own lunch. This afternoon we commence the return leg of our journey on board
the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. This takes us 7.5kms over the top of the rainforest whilst taking in the stunning
panoramic views from the city of Cairns all the way out to the glittering waters of the Coral Sea. Hop off at the Skyrail’s
two mid-stations, Red Peak and Barron Falls, and take a walk around the forest floor on board-walks. Stop at the
scenic look-outs and learn about this diverse area at the state of the art Rainforest Interpretation Centre. Our Skyrail
experience is complete when we disembark at Smithfield Station and make our way back to our hotel for dinner.
Overnight Cairns: Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort
Day 3. Thu 14 Oct: Paronella Park - Australian Platypus Park Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Another exciting day is ahead as we head south past Innisfail with a stop at the Australian Sugar Industry Museum.
We continue to the fascinating Paronella Park which was developed in the 1920’s and 1930’s by Spanish immigrant
Jose Paronella, an early eco-tourism operator. This park was ‘lost’ for 45 years and rediscovered in 1993, but it wasn’t
until 2009 that a full restoration was completed. The park is powered entirely by the flow of the Mena Creek Falls. Our
tour includes the story of Jose Paronella’s dream, is a unique piece of Australia, and is well worth the visit! Following
our visit which includes lunch at the Café on the Deck, our return journey back up to Cairns takes us via the scenic
Millaa Millaa Falls and Australian Platypus Park at Tarzali Lakes. We then make our way into Atherton which will be
our home base for two nights while we explore this beautiful tablelands area. After check-in there will be time to rest
before enjoying dinner in the motel.
Overnight Atherton: Atherton Motel
Day 4. Fri 15 Oct: Atherton Tablelands - Herberton Village Breakfast & Dinner
Our day begins after an early breakfast, taking a scenic drive through the beautiful Atherton Tablelands situated
between the Bellenden Ker Range and the Great Dividing Range. This fertile plateau contains some of the most
beautiful ancient rainforests with lakes, waterfalls, rivers and spectacular national parks.

Day 4. Continued: First stop is at Lake Barrine, a prehistoric volcano cone now a deep lake filled with the freshest of spring water and home to the twin Kauri pines and the giant Red Cedar tree. After morning tea in the Teahouse we take a Rainforest and Wildlife Cruise to see one of the most complex and amazing rainforest eco-systems in the world. We then visit the famous Giant Curtain, Cathedral Fig Tree and delightful village of Yungaburra with its charming cafés, award winning restaurants, arts and crafts galleries plus its 18 heritage-listed buildings - making it the biggest National Trust village in Queensland. Next stop is at the Historic Village Herberton which is like stepping back in time. The village has over 50 original buildings that date from its foundation years. Strolling through the village gives a sense of being in a real township complete with chemist, school, bank, grocery store, frock salon, toy shop mechanic, jail and lots more. The Bakerville Pub “Tearooms” provides the perfect spot to buy some lunch. After another wonderful day we journey to Atherton for our overnight stay and enjoy dinner in the motel. Overnight Atherton: Atherton Motel Day 5. Sat 16 Oct: Mossman Gorge - Daintree - Cape Tribulation Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Today after breakfast and check out we begin the journey north along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive to Mossman Gorge. We enjoy morning tea at Mossman Gorge Centre before a guided walk in the rainforest of the gorge. Next is a 1 hour Daintree River Cruise soaking in the unique environment which is abundant with wildlife including Saltwater Crocodiles. A tropical BBQ lunch is included at a private rainforest location before visiting the renowned Cape Tribulation Beach, named by Captain Cook. It’s then time to check in to our Daintree Rainforest accommodation where there will be time to freshen up before drinks at own cost and dinner in the open air “On the Turps” Bar and Restaurant. Evenings in this restaurant are very special and what more spectacular way to end the day than listening to the wild nightlife come alive in the heart of the Daintree. Ponder the day just gone or those ahead, surrounded by the smells and sight of the dark night here at the Lodge. Candles and flaming torches set the scene for a wonderful evening. The Head Chef Andrew will delight with his cuisine as we sit back enjoy a cool drink and let the lodge team do the rest for an evening to remember. Overnight Cape Tribulation: Daintree Rainforest Heritage Lodge Day 6. Sun 17 Oct: Cape Tribulation - Port Douglas Breakfast & Dinner Today we start the day with the smell of fresh bread and home-made jams drifting from the kitchen as we sit and enjoy the rainforest as our backdrop whilst enjoying a complimentary continental tropical breakfast. The open air restaurant which sits on the edge of Cooper Creek with the rainforest enveloping us, is as idyllic as it is tranquil. Jungle Perch and catfish share the creek with the fresh water turtles and birds high in the canopy. Following breakfast we checkout and begin our journey to Port Douglas. The rest of the day in Port Douglas is at your leisure. Take a walk along Four Mile Beach or make your way to the shops along the Macrossan Street shopping precinct or visit the Sunday markets (open till 2pm). Tonight we enjoy dinner at the Salsa Bar and Grill. Overnight Port Douglas: Oaks Port Douglas Day 7. Mon 18 Oct: Port Douglas - Cairns Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Today we check out from the hotel and make our journey back to Cairns. As we travel back along the coastline we make a stop at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. We enjoy free time to explore the park, including the unique eco experience of the Wetlands cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands - the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife including water birds, turtles, wallabies, koalas, and cassowaries. See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show and take the opportunity to hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense). Discover the world’s most venomous snakes at the Snake Show. We then travel onto Palm Cove for our lunch at the O’Donnells Irish Bar and Grill. We continue onto Northern beaches of Cairns, with short stops at both - Trinity Beach and Yorkeys Knob. We then make our way into Cairns for check in. We enjoy dinner tonight at the Dundee’s Restaurant, located on the Marina with views of the Trinity inlet and surrounding mountainside. Overnight Cairns: Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort Day 8. Tue 19 Oct: Cairns - Brisbane Breakfast This morning we have the morning at leisure before we check out and transfer to the Cairns airport for our homeward flight after a wonderful time away in tropical North Queensland with Trade Travel.

HOW TO CONFIRM YOUR PLACE ON THE TOUR
A $100.00 deposit will be required for this tour by nominated date, along with a signed booking form. After this you will
receive a confirmation letter in writing. Please refer to your confirmation letter for payment deadlines. If payment is not
received by the due date, Trade Travel reserves the right to cancel your place on the tour & you may incur cancellation fees.
CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING
Any changes to your booking once the deposit has been received may incur amendment fees. Please check these details
when requesting changes.
CANCELLATION OF YOUR BOOKING & INSURANCE
The reservations we make on your behalf or groups behalf are subject to cancellation fees from all Suppliers, making it
necessary to enforce strict cancellation policies. If you cancel a reservation prior to the departure of your tour the following
cancellation fees will apply: We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you against illness or
accident, cancellation fees, loss of luggage, etc. in the unfortunate event that you have to cancel from the tour.
Any unused portion of monies paid are refundable up to 2 September, 2021.
All payments from 3 September, 2021 are subject to 100% cancellation fee.
REFUND PROCESSING FEE
Please note there will be a $25.00 fee applicable for all refunds to cover costs of processing the payment. This fee is
applicable on all cancellations received for all Tour/Holiday bookings.
CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY
Trade Travel reserves the right to alter, change or omit the itinerary as necessary. Trade Travel reserves the right to cancel
the tour should it not reach minimum numbers and clients will be notified prior to departure should this occur.
RESPONSIBILITY
Trade Travel does not accept liability for failure on the part of third party Suppliers whose responsibility is confined to their
own operations.
CONFIRMATION LETTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions are provided at the time of promotion, however your Confirmation Letter will override any
Terms and Conditions raised on this booking form. Please refer to your Confirmation Letter for the most up-to-date booking
conditions, change fees and cancellation fees, as these will be applied as necessary.
TOUR BOOKINGS
All tours and bookings made with Trade Travel are monitored and updates are sent to our clients based on their departure
date. Restrictions are changing regularly and it is important we adhere to the Government health authority advice and we
are confident all our suppliers are committed to these guidelines.
PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS - BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE
All payments made to Trade Travel are held in Trust and are protected by our Consumer Protection Insurance, this way we
can give our clients the Peace of Mind that all funds are held safely. Trade Travel will endeavour not to disperse any client’s
money to any supplier until we believe the tour is going to proceed and it is safe to do so.
Trade Travel has currently suspended the requirement of Deposit Payments from clients for all our tours in the foreseeable
future. Tours can be booked with a completed Booking Form at this stage and when the tour is confirmed to proceed, we
will then request Full and Final Payment from the client.
REFUNDS/SUPPLIER CREDITS - PEACE OF MIND
Trade Travel will provide 100% refund to all our clients where possible. If the tour is cancelled due to COVID-19 and there
has been no cancellation or credits retained by suppliers, our passengers will receive a full refund. In the event the supplier
has been paid and they are not offering a refund, we will refund in full minus the outlaid funds only. Trade Travel will not
charge a cancellation fee on any booking affected by COVID-19 disruptions. We hope this gives our customers Peace of
Mind when booking.
AIRLINES/TOUR OPERATORS AND PARTNERS
Many tours include the use of Airlines, Coach Companies, Motels, Restaurants and Attractions. All suppliers are taking
initiative for the future to continue to provide a valuable service with COVID-19 as part of our normal. Our office will work
closely with our partners to assist them in every way for the safety of our clients for them to travel safely.
DONALD SIMPSON COMMUNITY CENTRE SPECIAL CONDITIONS
The Donald Simpson Community Centre reserves the right, with absolute discretion, to exclude or terminate a tour without
refund of, anyone who:
(a) Is unable to cope with the requirements of any aspect of the tour or requires services or facilities which are not
available.
(b) Engages or has engaged in undesirable behaviour or who interferes with the enjoyment or jeopardises the safety or
comfort of other tour participants.

We recommend all our passengers download the COVIDSafe App before travelling on our tours. COVIDSafe is a new tool
to help speed up how the health department can notify people who may have been exposed to COVID-19, so the health
system can protect you, your family and friends.
